First Time Grower

Hi Mates,

I am new to this website and to growing and I just wanted to say hello to all and thanks in advance for the help that we all will be providing each other as I start on this journey into growing my own cannabis and eventually making up my own strain one day

For my first grow I am using bag seeds (regular+non auto) that I got from my friend WISHINGONABUD sometime ago I will be using Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil with some added perlite. The nutes however will be something different all together. I have in my arsenal:

General Hydroponics Flora Series (3 part)
Schultz All Purpose (10-15-10) Plant Food
Nitrogen
Cal-Mag Plus
Mother of all Blooms
GH Rapid Start
GH Liquid Kool Bloom
Grandma's Unsulphured Robust Molasses
Epsom Salt
Superthrive


My plan is to grow one plant using the General Hydroponics and the other will be fed with Schultz all purpose. I will only let them veg for two weeks and then throw them into flower since I only have a very small place to grow.
My lights are 68 watt=300 watt (4200 lumens) each and one 23 watt= 100 watt (1600 lumens) 2700k cfls for flowering. I have small pots and hopefully these two plants kind of small. I am not fee ding these plants anything before they go into flower. I just want to see what comes out as a result of these plants. I also want to try one growing a plant with nothing but molasses. Okay so here is my first pics of my ladies I named them after two kick ass characters from one of my fav. movies can anyone guess:

Welcome. Don't use that Schultz, you already have everything nute wise, but that cheap shit ain't worth it in my opinion.

agree with pop the trunk that all purpose plant food is crap. I used some on my first grow and it destroyed my soils ph and dwarfed one of my plants so bad it was half the size of all the others come harvest time

You see people that's what we are trying to find out for ourselves. I have a friend that has been using Miracle Grow Tomato food and alot of people told him the same thing but what he did was take two plant of the same strain grew one with GH and the other with the MG and surprisingly the one with the MG was bigger had more buds and the other just had bigger buds so we just want to try it out and see what is what. Why Will I Need it Lol?

Youre going to want to get more lights in there from the way that you said it I think the 68 Watt is the equivalency and not the actual output. May be wrong but from what I read and the way you posted it thats what I read.

Really you would need to grow two clones at the same time in the same place with one change (nutes) to really say one way or the other. Two of thew same strain will not do, You can grow two diferent phenotypes from the same pack of seeds.

Okay so check this out, I have six Sweet Tooth Auto x Sage Seeds I got my buddy!! I don't have 2 grow rooms so I am gonna toss out the non autos and keep my autos since they will all be 18-6 all through. So I am going to start journal with those and post some pics I still will to do my experiment although of people have been like "don't do it" but my thing is that these are my plants so it's my decision and there might be somebody out there one day that can't get access to the nutes and the only choice they might have is to use Schultz so this is for them and I am honestly curious. So I hope that I can update at least twice a week and update. You all come by and check me out!!!
