First Time Growing: How Close am I?

Hi Guys,

This is my first time growing and so far its looking pretty good, but other than my general plant growing knowledge and tips from friends, i honestly dont know how well my plant is growing or how close i am to harvesting it, i was just wondering if i could get any professional advice from you guys, and maybe an estimate to how many more weeks until harvest? here is a pic of one of my 3 plants.

how long have you been flowering already? and what strand is it? Indica strands take about 8+ weeks and sativa strands take about 12+

The best way to tell would be to use a microscope to check the color of the trichomes. Depending on what kind of high you want - cloudy to amber trichs are what you're going for. Another good indication is the color of the pistils. If they're mostly white, keep growing.

it is an indica strand and had been flowering for a little over 5 weeks

you probably have about 4 weeks left at the most. Get yourself a cheap 40x scope, nothing is a better indicator of whether the plant is ready or not then looking at trichromes with a scope
