hang in there you have a long way to go
yea dude hang in their, the one 3 weeks old is a little small for 3 weeks at 24hr light, but this is obvisially due to the light u have, if possible i would go bigger in the light, and start them on some nutes, that`ll fatten them up a little. and their is so much more that could be done to improve, just dont have the time a the moment to get in specifics. But if u need more help message me dude.:hump: peace

yea worm castings is great, and super thrive works good too,i used it one grow awhile back.. But i always use advanced nutrients nutes, usually just the sensi grow A&B fro veg and sensi bloom fro flowering, they work awsome. and i use the sensi grow from a week from sprout.
but i woulden`t really worry about them being short, i mean if u cant do anything about the light situation, or anything else for the time being, they will stay small but will still produce buds, and isen`t that what really matters?:hump:

what would you recommend to buy to achieve that? keep in mind low budget lol:lol: Thanks again guys appreciate the help. :bigjoint:
Hey bro, I went to walmart and got a $10 two foot one tube floro fixture with a 7800 bulb included... called a grow light. I put it in between the two reg. T12 4' shoplights with 4 6500k tubes hanging over my plants... hopefully it will improve the growth rate. My seedlings grew to about 1.5 inches tall in their first week, so let's see if more light will kick em up a notch speed wise. If I see a marked improvement, maybe I'll buy some more.. hell, a beer at the bar will run ya five bucks with a tip...

Good luck homie

Ok first off, you need to get more light. What i used to use were 120W cfl lights from lowes. I get the "make your own lamp" kits that are just wireing and a socket, get a couple of "Y" splitters for the outlets and get 2 bulbs for each plant. Also, the Y splitters put the bulb at an angle, if you hang the bulb by the wire in a closet or box or somthing, then it put more light down from the thick sides. those tubes are great to help the side branches grow but i would be lollipopping. Light besides, i used to grow in miracle grow and it only when it replaced my medium AND nutes. I had WW and added nutes to one because they were just green for a while. It got burned because the miracle grow soil has nutes that are usually for tomatoes and things like that. I would only add nutes if they show signs of deficiency. That is rather small for 3 weeks mainly because of the limited light. Just let them grow untill they are half of your goal height than flower. What strain is it?

I found this link quite informative and helpful in setting up my shoplight grow... I plan to emulate a lot of what he did for vegging. I got the old lady to sign off on me buying a 400W HPS for about 150 shipped from HTG. I figure this will help the buds get a lot denser and bigger than floro tubes, but hey as someone said in the thread... loose leafy buds are better than no damn buds at all.

Sorry if this being from a different forum upsets anybody, just trying to give you some options and ideas.

Peace,

well as with all plants they focus on roots at night healthy roots=healthy growth=higher yield 18on 6off and hey check out the tea section and make your own nutes man its cheaper and hands on..oh and add some mylar to your box or paint it white fluorescent will allow more lights and less heat, co2 get a lil mason jar put a packet of yeast in it and one Tbs sugar three Tbs warm water cover with plastic wrap secure with rubber band poke a small pin hole in center..good for a week of slow co2 that will help those little ladies get up and go! add that fan keep em at 72-75* if you can keep em good and pruned once big enough that will help light through...hope that helps hey if you dont find all you need to know about making nutes feel free to msg me!
