harvest everything, pluck don't cut, any solid mushroom matter left on the cake can rot.
after the first flush:
i mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide (3% solution from the grocery store, cheap stuff) with 4 parts water. this'll kill some bacteria and provide water and oxygen for the mycellium. i mist the hell out of my cakes and mist casing enough that there's a little standing water in the bottom of my tray.
misting with straight water works fine too.
i've only dunked once, mostly because i don't do cakes. people do it all the time so it must work fine.
the point is to rehydrate the cake. i've even seen people put a straw in the cake and try to pour water into the center of the cake.

ok so i picked 13 gr wet off 2 cakes mostly abouts i have ran a total of 3 cakes so far. I have one newly birthed cake. About 2 days from harvest. but i figured Id catch everyone up on what im doing. I had 2 colinized cakes that each had a patch of wet bfr/verm on the bottom. no idea why it was never covered beside its too wet. One of those I broke up and put into 2 wbs jars. The other one was broke up and put into a small casing foil tray ( what the hell right they looked like shit anyways......) last night I soaked 2 jars for flush #2 and #3 is soaking now. still have 4 jars that are a lil behind and havent started pinning yet. so.......3 cakes one flush total dry just over 23 gr. Im happy... they didnt die. LOL Now Im looking at a bulk batch. Casing. But plan on using the 8oz jars i have. The same pressure cooker as well. Im not sure if I'll post the next grow.Unless someone really wants to see it?

your spores come yet? I just mixxed my print with water ( boilled it in microwave about 2 hoursago covered with clean towel let cool hour and 15 min or so poured print scrapings in mix then fillled needle) 2 oz of water one cap, and the needle looks purple/ more spores. its kinda cool i have super spores lol one more day till the trip
