Yeah what we’re saying is, it’s hard to guess without ever growing that strain under your light, how much it will stretch. So better safe than sorry. How much more can you go up. It’s an educated guess

I was going to tie my 8 mains to the ring and let the 4 offshoots in the middle just do their thing.
I have started using a weight method, on plants I want to keep low. I’ve draped (in an arch shape) bungee cords over my stalks at whatever node up the plant seems to hold the branches at more horizontal level. If only doing one bend you first have to anchor the mainstalk in the opposite direction of the bend. I just tie the base stalk to my container on one side. Then find a height I like and carefully bend it over and weight it. As it grows, I move the cord up a notch to keep it “laying low”. The cords can also be hooked to things to pull the branch/stalk one way or another.
-This method may not work with your setup but point is you can easily get it to grow however you need during veg, and even a little if needed during flower. On my first grow I didn’t heed the advice to not touch your plants (as much as possible) during flower, and I’m sure it affected my yield. So get them trained BEFORE flip!
Your plants look good, have fun.
Wattzup is right about controlling your middles before they get too high- remember each of the stalks is going to end in a bud that you’ll need to give light without burning, and plenty of airflow.

I like the sound of a weight method, mine is tied to the side of the pot. I'm thinking about just getting rid of the 4 offshoots in the middle to create more room.

Not a bad Idea, I think. Might be able to use them for clones.

Looks great!

I ended up putting mine in 5 gal pots, cutting some tomato rings and flipped two weeks ago. Glad I did not wait longer, they are stretching over an inch a day
