Coconut oil stores a lot longer than butter........and it can be used for cooking.
I make canna caps with coconut oil because I can't stand the taste of cannabis infused food.

Also higher fat % than butter, so it absorbs more thc than butter with the same surface area of the two.

Alright its more of a preference but stores longer and can be used in different types of food and has less of the cannabis taste.

4 hrs on simmer 200 degrees+ IS decarbing. No need for extra.
