First Time PF Tek - Ecuador (fruiting) GT (colonizing)

Well it's really not that huge of a deal I appreciate any input you guys want to give. Just wasn't expecting it to turn into some kind of pissing contest.

Anyway, those loaf pans are throwing off some nice pins and it looks like I'm going to have a nice 2nd flush. The fruits from the 1st flush were pretty small, but overall I feel it produced more than if I would have just fruited the cakes I used as spawn.

I'll throw up some pics when things start getting more interesting.

really cool grow i have to try this sometime. whats the normal yeild off one of those "cakes"?

I've been averaging close to an 1/8th dry per cake, per flush from these Golden Teachers. Almost double from my first batch. Varies greatly from cake to cake and from flush to flush. You'll notice you'll have cakes that throw off some nice fruits and others that are just so-so.

I love GT's...there like the most common type where I live.

that sounds like a very decent yield for ANY beginner.
specially for golden teachers.
