Day 19 - Just added 2 42w 2700K CFLs in 1 reflector aiming at the sides of the girls. See if that speeds things up a bit

2700 K will help alot in flowering, but not alot in VEGGING.
6500k or 5100k or even 4100k would be better for Vegging.

Last night, I raised my lights 12 inches higher and am doing a "deliberate stretch" for 24 hours. I'll let ya know how it worked. I am trying to increase the space in between the nodes and allow more LIGHT to penetrate in.

They seem to be alot bushier (fuller) today and stinkier, gonna get some ONA in a few days to compliment the Ozone generator. Let me know how the stretch works. What would be a good bulb at Walmart or Home Depot I could get for Veg for under $10, I am broke at the moment.

They have plenty of warm white 2700K bulbs in 42 and 65 watt, but you need a cool white, 6500k. Lowes and Home depot has them, Walmart does not.

I completed the Deliberate Stretch.

I kept my LIGHTS about 18 inches, maybe 16 inches higher up above the plants for about 20 hours, and they grew two inches taller at least, maybe three. I think the ones in the bucket may of grown 4 inches taller.

I am amazed.

And to review, the deliberate stretch is to open up the plant so that more tips can "see" the light, right Rose? After they stretch, is that a good time to tip the pots to widen the grow area as well?

Amen! I am bending them over now, (LST, but no wires or bondage) to allow more light to penetrate in. I have at least 5 plants that are going to be Monsters, with a dozen UPWARD main or major branches, and I have topped and fimmed them twice already, too, and I mean all of them.
They are BUSHES! VERY FULL BUSHES, and I had to do soemthing to OPEN them up and let the light in. The Canopy of each reservoir is SOLID THICK new growth. I have no nute burn, no yellowing and only one elaf tip burnt by a bulb so far.

I have had a lot less mistakes, less errors, less boo -boos because I feel like there are some people standing over my shoulder watching the grow and I can't mess up. It would be embarrassing to kill them all and fail.

That's why I applaud your courage of doing a tutorial. It's like being on stage! Had a feeling this one was going to be good! That's how the nubes teach us also. Makes us review our practices, keep up on new tech and makes us better. Gives us that unconsious competence that we all strive for!

Day 21 - I don't know what happened but there was a huge growth explosion last night. I guess the side 2700K is helping. Gonna change the water tommorrow and post new pics.

How long are you going to VEG?
1 more week. I have limited space (they can only get about 3' high or so). I plan on going right in to a 2nd grow so that one I can take the full 5 weeks in veg. but spending too much money to smoke right now

I switched from the 2 42W 2700K, to 2 27W 5500K's last night, but I think adding the third reflector definately helped a few days ago.

They look great, very healthy! Next time you take pics do you think we could get a shot of the roots? Looks like your on target for a merry christmas and a happy new year!

Day 23 - The Chiesel is becoming massive and is about 3-4" taller than the Blue Cheese. I am thinking maybe because of the sativa in Chiesel?
