First ever DWC Running Green Crack in 5 gallon bucket 400 watt..

So here i go trying my hand at something new kind of got tired of the soil and wanted better yields as well so i have started one Green Crack bean in my new 5 gallon DWC bucket i will be using the Jungle Juice 3 part formula for this grow first time as well for these nutes..i truly want to veg for at least 45 to 60 days with a lot of topping and LST to maximize my yield..i wil be running a 400 watt hps for flower and im vegging with my 2 bulb T5 setup..
i germed my seed 4 days ago and put into rock wool after 24 hours had nice tap root, two days ago she popped out the top and i put her under the T5 and directly into the net pod and hydrotron water solution simple @ 1/8 strength 3 part series 5.8 PH and here she is so far so good...
Believe me i will need as much help and feed back as i can get to get through this the way i want i have done hours of research and feel really good about what i learned and my start is looking good so far so please feel free to join me and lend a hand...

Hey there, I too have just started to learn about DWC. Looking forward to learning with you. Here is a couple pics of my setup. I tried using some nutrients, extreme nutrients grow pack. She looked like she didn't like so I'm changing the water again today. I think I might be doing something wrong.

Hey good to have you here and i will do anything i can to assist you as long as i know what it is im talking about believe me im no know it all brother still learning myself...As for you start dont look to bad from the pictures cant really tell yet one thing i do know from all the hours of reading up on this grow type is the PH and the proper nutrient mix is critical im just going strictly by the bottle on this until i see how things go...

Just a lil update on the home front i am still in the infant stages right now everything seems a little slow the second set of leaves are now here but nothing else not sure where it should be at this point but the seedling still looks very healthy so i guess that's a good sign right now i'm on my way out to my boys all star baseball tournament so i will update later with pic's and all...

And welcomes to the world of hydroponics our set looks good do you have a way to keep the water in your system cool? I know from past experience if the water temp get over 75 degrees you in a danger zone at 80 the root will develop root and your plant will die. That’s one thing about hydro you don’t have the cool soil but in the same note you don’t have all the other problems that come with soil. I use general hydroponics FloraDuo it’s a two part mix but really easy to use if you want to see the results look at my grows(https://www.rollitup.org/t/1st-crit...1-days-flowering-3-weeks-from-harvest.824858/).
And don’t worry if she seams to be doing nothing at this point she is probley putting down roots, watch for any discoloration, twisting or curling in the leaves or leaf tips this is where problems start to show up first. Also here are three “plant self diagnosis” web sits with pictures that I find useful if you think you might be developing a problem or have a problem. Good luck with your grow and if you have a question just ask.

Hey thanks for the info and the heads up greatly appreciated..My water temps are fine so far i keep my house @ about 72 all day with my a/c set so i should be fine there i am using 3 part jungle juice for this first try if all is well i will stick with it if its to finicky i will look into something else glad to have you with me i'll be stopping by your grow to snipe some more info...

O'k so did a little check today and she is well looking very vibrant and healthy also checked bottom of the net pot and have some roots out the bottom yeah! i set my nutes to 500 and my ph is at 5.8 right now and it has held steady that way for almost a day now...so far so good!

Sounds like everything is going really good. I am not familiar with the jungle juice but if it is thick like the flora nova I use to use it might plug up your pumps intake that is why I switch to the floradou because it is clear. Here is a ph chart I found handy it shows at what ph nutrients are best absorbed by the roots. I think after this first hydro grow you will see the advantages of hydro over soil in that you don’t have bug problems you just have to keep her feed and give her the right atmosphere and she will grow like a weed. And if you have a question just ask I will do my best to answer it. Also watch your plants leaves if there is a problem it will show up there first that is why I included those web sits because if you do have a problem you are going to be the one making the final diagnosis and treatment decision. And it is always nice to be able to check if any advice you get is accurate.

Right on bro i got cha and im going to be very much on top of things here as well the new 3 part jungle juice is thin and clear so it should be fine to use we will see also i will be referring to those sights you gave me when i need them you bet cha! lol

So here is the little lady she looks real good for about 9 days from sprout now is when she should began to take off a little roots are out the bottom of the pot..

She looks really good. It’s funny after your plant sprouts and starts to really grow good it’s almost like having a another kid, the plant grows another set of leaves or a bud and you want to take pictures and show everybody. Just think in a few more weeks she will be ready to flower and a few weeks after that she will be ready to smoke.

O'k so i noticed that for me it just seemed as though my plant was not growing at the rate i thought it should ..So i went back and looked up my nutrient schedule for JJ and converted it to us gallons and tsp tbsp etc and realized i was not close to the right formula mix but i have corrected the issue and she is still very pretty and i hope i will see lots of growth in the next week or so...

So here is my lil one still doing o'k but waiting on that big growth boom checked the roots today and got a nice clump about the size of my thumb dropping into the rez so i hope she will be taking off soon....
