Id get myself a dependable tds meter that way you can avoid conversion errors
Never a question as to the strength of solution I find a tds meter a must have for dwc

not sure its actually a bag seed to start for the first run being new at this did'nt want to mess up a 12-14 dollar seed! lol but i do have another bucket and as i get the hang of this i will be starting the real deal...This is green crack..

I'm actually building a Solo party cup dwc for the RIU party cup challenge, it'll be one of my first dwc tries, but it looks like its gonna be fun!

Hey thanks for the stop by big pat glad to have you here hope we can grow at this together because this is my first rodeo but it is getting fun so i hope all is well..
 
so here are the roots coming out of the bottom can someone tell me if this is about right in size so far at 16 or so days from sprout? they are touching the water now... ricky b-day 052.jpg

yeah i have one works pretty well i feel more comfy without guessing..
 
By the way nutrient reading is at 860 and the water temp is 70 deg with my ph holding very well at 5.6 on the head1

She looks good but at 15 day I would think she would be feather along. I was wondering have you tried using supplements like kelp and silica in you bucket and spraying you plant. I know between my last grow and this one I have seen a marked difference in the growth rate. It is a lot faster and bigger. Do a quick google search and see what you think. I am using Bio weed from general organics and Armos-Si from General Hydroponics. The Armor-Si if you use it will spike your ph up. And if you are displeased with your plant growth rate you might want to think about changing you nutrients if your plant looks good but isn’t growing then it is not getting something it needs from the nutrients. If she dose not respond to your adjusting the mix rate I would look at changing to something differant. Your ph is kind of low it should be around 6.0 for the best nutrient uptakeT.T.F.N.

Well i have only given her very light nutes so far and she is doing real nice and has started to get prett big now and the root ball has really gotten bigger so i will up the nutes some and see what happens..

Yeah it will take some tinkering with nuts and stuff being you first bucket grow, she looks really good.
 
O'k so went in to check all my vital signs on my baby and all is well...PH @ 5.9 EC is @ 1300 water temp @ 72deg..i do see growth happening now and it should really begin to take off...ricky b-day 055.jpgricky b-day 054.jpg
