Flipping the Iranians...

so I have a 10 pack of Iranian Autoflowers (fem), and I'm planing on flipping one of them to polonate a few others...have anyone done this successfully? I remember seeng a thread of someone planing on doing it but lost it...do I have to start the girl plants before the male so they are ready to recive the pollen by the time the chosen plant have been reversed and have male flowers?I know the Iranians are an outdoor strain but would it be worth it to germinate 3 or 4 and try to do the whole seed crop indoors? What are my risks as far as ending up with all herm seed stock? Any help, experience or input concerning this strain is greatly appreciated...

in case you didn't already know they aren't a true auto so you can clone them from a mother plant if you keep it on 24 hours of light. That's a lot easier than reversing a femmed plant and making seeds and no risk of hermies.
They are not an outsdoor only strain either BTW.

Simple.....grow them side by side....by the time the balls are releasing their "glory", you'll probably have multiple fem flowers to choose from to pollinate....I just got about 50 seeds off of a auto assassin by choosing 3 small buds below the main cola....BUT...after pollinating your selected fem, careful what you set her around for a wek or two....pollen drifts.....

I knew they were pure indica but didnt know you could keep them from flowering by keeping them under 24hr....Hmmm can I keep 'em from flowering under 18/6?

Maybe, I don't know what the exact flowering trigger point is. My gut feeling is no.
Mothers don't need high levels of light all 24 hours anyways.

All right than...this is what I'll do, I'll germinate 2 and see if I can turn them in to moms...even If I only get 10 clones of each befoure the onsete of flowering I'll be happy, my concern is ....would the clones start flowering on mother's lifeclock or will they stay in veg as long as the light on 24/7....has anyone cloned Iranian autoflower?

What do you mean not a true auto? Just that its been crossed with an auto? In that case crossing it with anything but the same strain will not produce autos? Is that right? Sorry to hijack, just not very familiar with autos and that is very interesting

There's been a few issues with the Iranian Autoflower similiar to the Nirvana Auto strains....sometimes flower has to be forced......I grew out the Nirvana strains myself...no problem......I 12/12 all my autos.....

Most auto strains are ruderalis hybreads whyle Iranians are a pure indica that goes from seed to finish in 90 days...the smoke is alot more pottent than most autos and yeld is greater....however I havent heard of anyone keeping Iranian moms...frmr's logic is sound though so its worth a shot....the worst case scenario I'll flower 2 iranians indoor....so its not that big of a deal....

I'm too high to reply to anyone right now (Jillybean, my fav in case you wanted to know) but I want to inform you this strain is not age sensitive like ruderalis. Doc in his original release description stated that it's a seedling that showed an very early blooming period and he called it Early Iranian. These are selfs of that clone.
Reeferman has/had an Afghani that was the same.

Ah i see. That's wht I didn't understand I thought all autos where ruderalis or hybrids. That's very odd that it finishes so early
