Flood light roughly 200 feet from garden.

Does anyone know if a flood light with 200 feet from you flowering cannabis plants will be affected? Last year I kept it off but I love having it on.. it's my paranoia. My tomatoes grew just fine except they took a while to turn red. Not sure what that was about.

If you have experience please share.

I had a concern a few years back on what effect streetlights might have on wild vegatation. Turns out it's negligable. From that distance there is not enough generated light to have any noticable effect.

I wouldn't advise it. Seems like a gamble I wouldn't take. Try finding a better location if possible and maybe throw a cpl where you were gunna initially and see how they differ this yr then you will know. Post your results so we can all learn from it. My honest opinion. Happy growin, Blitz

I have security lights around my garden about 100 feet away. IMO, as long as its not direct light or less intense than full moon you should be good. Obviously, the darker the better. Good luck.

I was worried about this when I was growing in a greenhouse close to a main road with streetlights are car headlights passing by. I found what Garden Boss and Bird McBride said to be accurate; the light produced is negligible and won't effect flowering cannabis plants from that distance.

One more on the don't worry about it bandwagon. Minimal light is minimal in effect. I personally found no difference between blackout and a room with small light leaks and a blanket for a dark curtain.

some cars and trucks have HID's as well and i wouldnt test herm tendency unless you can afford the mistake. some strains are sensitive

Im just quessing but

I believe as long as the plant is grown outside under the same light conditions from vedg - flower it should not be much of a issue unless the lights are almost directly on them.

Many many plants are photo period sensitive and dont seem to have problems with exterior light .

Yes apd "absolute photo determinate" and rpd "relative photo" are much different. Some strains are sensitive. Garden boss is so right the darker the better. Florigen takes wks to produce and destroys quickly.

they should be fine as everyone is saying. i use an area that has a street light about the same distance it has never effected it even though it is enough light to see your way with.
