Floraflex Matrix system?

Anyone running these?
If so what are your opinions?
I've been running a homemade automated perlite hempy system for the last 5 years using one of their bubblers and a condensate pump for drainage but was considering making the switch to these to use with coco.
Thoughts?

I have 8 of the drainage platforms. Currently reconfiguring into 2 separate but joined 4x4s. They work great. I currently run 2 gallon floraflex pots on them but I plan to switch to 5 gallon matrix pots soon as I am reducing plant count. I have no doubts the matrix system will work great with perlite hempy or coco. No algae on top for sure and even watering of the whole pot.20240814_101050.jpg

I went ahead and ordered the 4 piece drainage set.
I figured I can still use my old buckets and ring drippers with them (they're mounted on the bottom of bucket lid for light blocking already) just by putting a few drain holes in the base of the pot instead of the side.
Read a review where the guy said you need paint strainer bags for their 5gal pots otherwise you loose some dirt out of the bottom so I ordered some bags off Amazon to use with my current buckets.
I'm just hoping now the condensate pumps I have will work. May need to buy a new low profile one...
Guess we'll see how it goes.

I use mine in a basement so gravity sends it all to a floor drain. I have a different setup with a flood tray and that's on a stand and drains into a condensate pump. I had to heighten that for the pump to fit.

That's good to know about the strainer bags. You don't want debris in your drain lines.

What size pots are those in the picture?
I just ordered 4 of 8" short 1gal to use in a 3x3, but now I'm wondering if I should have gone with the 2gal?
