Ok guys, I need some advice and help making this a good fuctioning Flower Room. Attached is a picture of the place I will be building the area in.
The Dimensions are as follow:
Length = 4ft. 8in.
Height = 4ft. 4in.
Depth = 2ft. 8in.
There is a vent on the bottom left corner that is already screened in. I have been trying to figure out if I am going to use this for exhaust or intake for the grow room. I will sheet rock and make the ports for the 4" exhaust. Right now its 80 degree's in the garage. Outside temp is 70-75 high. And I am only using floro, wait till the HPS gets plugged in. So I am getting close to already too warm. So I might need to intake some outside air to the inside of the grow room to get temps down. But, I also want to be able to vent out the smell once these babies start budding up.I have also kicked in side my head, I could use the vent for both, but then it might recycle the smell and cool and hot air back in.
I don't mind a little bit of the smell in the garage, as my friends know I smoke. Its when other people come in the garage I don't want them to know. So this will be sort of a stealth operations. No one that I know will know about the growing side of this op.
What I want to do first is buy some sheet rock, and seal up the area. Then buy Mylar and line the inside with it. Next figure out some kind of door to cover the open area.
Then buy maybe 2 of these.
High Tech Garden Supply
Then since I have the Floralux 400 watt High Pressure Sodium (HPS) System, it already has the 4 in. Vent, Connect one for heat exhuast off the light, and maybe another one for heat on the other side, and just have a screen somewhere placed on the sheet rock of one side to bring in air from the garage instead of the vent from outside. I still have it all in the air as to what exact way to build this thing.
High Tech Garden Supply
What would you guys do? And is the height going to be enough, or should I knock out the top shelf and go higher for bigger yield. If so, its just going to make it harder to hide and build and more materials.
