Flower Tent Setup Help

Hey guys,
I been lurking for a long while trying to figure out if I could actually get a system up and running also dealing with the better half's objections. Long story short I want to run a 3 plant perpetual/ individual scrog system under a 150w HPS for flowering. I have 3 sport coolers that I am going to run using the sunleaves pump from HTG with two air stones in each. I plan on harvesting on plant a month on average, seeking about 1.5 o's per month. Is this possible under good grow/climate conditions under a 150w hps?

Also I have read the few reviews on the HTG grow tents and I am not sure if this tent is decent quality to get my grow started. Also this link is for a 22x36x 63 tent at HTG, will this tent fit my needs and anyone ever use this tent? I am going to put it in a closet that is almost the same size. Any light leaks?

Thanks in advance for your help. Also I have read quite a few threads on people using 150's to grow some good stuff, just curious if the scrog idea is possible.

Also I want to add that I am going to take care of the cooling needs in the tent with a duct routed off of the central a/c to the bottom of the tent. I am going to pull air out with a stanley blower with twin small DIY carbon filters attached to each of the inlets blowing through ducting out the tent and the closet. Anyone see and problems with this such as humidity or like wise? I am going to air on the side of caution and say the fan is about 185 cfm with this setup, is this enough for this space? I am a newb but have read a lot on the forum, willing to take the best advice and try to put it all together for a small personal grow/ dealer independence. Also keep in mind I am already using two stacked Rubbermaids as a clone/mom/veg setup temporarily until I have money for another tent.

I was told by someone at the local hydro shop that for a tent this size a 250hps is the best bet can anyone comment on that? I am looking for a good yield without having major cooling issues. Htg tents look fine, 1.5oz is a bit much from that setup in a sog setup are u doing 3 plants at a time? if you are doing a perpetual run your going to need more than one grow area also only gonna need one air stone unless your running a big res. lighting I would say the 250w would be better than a 150w. for the money if your worried about cooling it you could also get a Blackstar 240w LED they run cool than you could just vent in fresh air they run just under $300 plus are alot cheaper on the electric bill and would give you the right amount of light needed.

using AC on your tent you might consider getting a humidifier and dehumidifier and temp and humidity monitor so you can keep it under control nothing fancy just something small that works for small areas.

that stanley blower is gonna make some noise make sure its not gonna be a issue before you use it.

sinisterreasons, thanks for your reply. I was hoping to run individual scrogs on each cooler with a screen 16x10 for each plant. I figured I would add a plant every month or so leaving me on average a harvest of at least one plant a month. I have a rubbermaid tub set I am using for veg and mother plants which will soon be replaced by a tent. I am hoping with long veg times I can fill my screen and control most of the early flower stretch with the screen, which hopefully lets me keep the 150 right over the top of the screen. I was thinking it was feasible to yield 2 oz's per plant running them DWC in 5 gal coolers under optimum conditions. I guess I am going to keep looking....

The blower is pretty loud for what it's worth, I am going to find a replacement once things are running and I can upgrade.

Ok everyone I am still wondering if this tent from htg is going to hold up for a good while? Anyone have any experience with their tents? I haven't found many helpful reviews. My main concern is finding the appropriate size tent for supplying around an oz a month with either a 150hps or a 250hps. I understand the question is fairly ambiguous but I was hoping someone could confirm that with average conditions and a 150 hps over 2 plants scrog'd can yield over 3 oz's every 2 months of flower. I am trying to get answers before I make my purchase in 2 weeks. I have a separate veg area that I am using to get my girls to the screen.

My method of scrog is to bring the plants to the screen spreading them out filling 75% or so under it then keeping the tops below until the screen is filled up. Once the screen is filled I was planning on keeping the cola's under the 12" mark to keep the buds "in the light." I have used this method years ago under a 400 hps in a ghetto youth op that used to net around 4 oz's with 3-4 plants. Obviously I am hoping to bring more to the table than that with a dialed in system and less plants.
