You know what you guys were a little harsh at first for good reason because I didn't listen to experienced Growers and will now heed your guys's advice. In my defense though I wasn't checking up on the answers you guys were giving me I'm Googling things watching YouTube reading textbooks and everything contradicts each other because a lot of people have their own ways of doing things but it's a lot better to talk to someone that has current hands-on experience

They're totally your plants and you can do as you like. Lots of really BS stuff on YouTube though. Even some legit sites spread some pretty 'bro-science' things. One of the other sites I see people are all about flushing and harvesting super early. Again, I'll follow the advice of guys who have had skin in the game for decades.

Like I really had so much information in my head on so many ways to do things that I made it complicated in my own mind right away. So at first I just threw my hands up and said I'm just going to try and this is what I came out with I'm sorry if I offended anyone by not taking their advice. You have to admit a lot of people swear by Flushing a lot of people that is the dumbest thing you can do then other people say only if you're having nutrient build ups in lockouts so I was just kind of being open to all of this information and just trying it my own way hopefully it doesn't turn out garbage

Yeah I don't know I am completely done Googling and reading and not talking too people that are doing it. A lot of outdated information out there too. But do I get any props at all on this first plant I grew this stinks Frosty as f***. Lol I need a pad on the back to not discourage me

You're doing fine. Those buds look great.
Flushing works well when you've got lockout. Which unless you're hiding a bunch of nasty lookin' leaves, you don't have. It's a tool to clean out the soil so your plants can start accessing the fertilizer again.

Understood. Yeah I mean when I flushed following the schedule to a T exactly the plant would look great after I flushed it and fed it again it's like it would give it a boost. I forgot I also I was using cavern culture which I figured added a lot of salts to the soil. Another question I have is during the vegetative FaZe I was foliar feeding with nectar for the gods Poseidonzyme at quarter strength a few times a week while doing any type of high stress or low stress training it's 0-0 - 0.5 is this a good thing to do or was the guy at the shop just trying to make another $30?

Pure distilled or RO water has no pH of it's own and is perfectly fine to give straight to your plants at any time. It will not affect the pH in the pots or reservoir either way. pH pens won't generally read pure water correctly. Leave your pen in either if you want to destroy it.
When a pure water is exposed to air it absorbs CO2 creating a week carbonic acid sol'n that may read as low as 5.5 but the acidity level is so weak that a drop of pH Up will make it slightly alkaline, (over pH7). That's why it won't affect the pH in the root zone by itself.
I use nothing but those forms of water and have for the last 20 years. My diploma in chemistry makes me sure of my facts.

Right I use ph up and PH down every time I feed and I noticed the slightest bit of anything will make the pH of distilled water go way up or way down like you said even leaving it exposed to air makes it acidic I read that in Ed rosenthal's book or one of the grow Bibles

Now on to harvest drying and curing a whole nother art that I'm new to and have heard a million different ways. I just read that people are dunking their buds in water after harvest to wash all the grit off and it doesn't degraded at all. Now this sounded absolutely ridiculous to me somebody tell me this isn't true LOL

I'll give you a pat on the back for doing a damn good job on your first plant! I think I killed my first few plants over 40 years ago and still kill a few here and there by neglect.
The colour ain't great but that upper yellowing is just the plant's fall colours as it finishes up if anything. If you're getting lots of amber and all the other trichs are mostly cloudy she could be good to chop now. I take mine at the first hint of amber and still lots of clear mixed in with the cloudy as I'm not much of a couch-lock toker unless I want some good stuff for bedtime but then I'll grow a strain noted for that effect rather than wait maybe weeks longer to get tons of amber. Amber indicates the degradation of THC into CBN which is a cannabinoid that helps with sleep.

I haven't had any issues obviously he said I had a great looking plant and for a first-timer I bet mine looks better than your first one. Little smug don't you think. You don't have to be a scientist to learn science. You just have to be able to retain information and put it to use

I come from a family of engineer's and design programs for CNC I'm sure I can figure out distilled water I would appreciate it if you would keep the smugness to yourself I like peace

Yep. Washing is a thing. It works. Flushing doesn't.
