Flowering Questions
I'm 5 weeks in, 2-3 weeks left

What is the Highest humidity that can be reached before mold will start forming?

Does it matter what degree it is when I am drying my crop after harvest?
If so what is a good degree to dry at?

How much should the humidity be when I am drying my crop?

Thanks

Too high humidities can help mold to form, but the way to stop it is with air circulation. The constant (24/7) movement of air around the buds will help the most. The highest humidity is during darkness so keep the exhaust and oscillating fans turned on.

You don't want to dry them in too warm of a room. Temps in the 60-70 range would be ideal. The room should be dark at all times, except when you are gazing at them, with slight air circulation, however no air blowing on the buds. The humidity for drying doesn't matter much, except that it will determine the length of time to hang.

Thanks, your recent answers were very helpful.

Well, I didn't know the answer to that when I first responded, and I'm sorry to say, I haven't learned it since then. :blsmoke:

Remember, the humidity is relative to your temperature. That's why no one can answer your question. As your temps go down, keep the air circulation up.

The humidity should remain a constant 50-60%. Too high and buds will mold, too low and they dry too fast and taste bad. Temperature should be around 65-68 degrees, wherever possible. Make sure the room is dark, as light degrades THC.
