My plant has been on 12/12 for 37 days, can I make her dark a little longer....maybe like 10 on 14 off?its a sativa dominant strain and I can tell it might take a lil longer than usual, all her hairs are still white, not even one amber after 37 days.
 
it might help it finish quicker in the end, but for now it'd probably slow it down. They need as much light as they can get for growth. If it's a sativa dom plant you aren't even half way done and shouldn't see anything but nice white hairs.
 
You can really do whatever you want...as long as there is less than 13 or 14 hours of light per cycle the plant should continue to flower, so 10/14 would work, or 13/11 I want as much light during flowering as possible, as opposed to less...so I wouldn't go down on the time any, but it might do something, might make the plant think the days are getting even shorter to hurry flowering, but I think it might just make it take longer to use the light it needs to to make more buds everyday...
