Flowers OR Pre-Flowers?

Hi everyone,
Newbie here!
Can anyone tell me if these are flowers OR pre flowers?
She's supposed to be a photoperiod (Bruce Banner)and I've been keeping her on an 18/6 veg cycle for about 6 weeks.
Should I switch to 12/12 flowering cycle or are these Pre-Flowers and can I keep her vegging?
Any advice is much appreciated!
Thanks
Robo :)

It WAS flowering and now it is revegging which is why you have those weird straplike leaves.
Thanks for the quick response.
In your opinion should I just switch her to 12/12 and let her flower?
Or keep going with 18/6 and continue with the revegging?

It will reveg in either case. Stay in 18/6, it has to go through the process, no way to speed it up. You'll know when the leaves regain their normal shape but you will also notice your plants will become super branchy which is great for making clones but You'll need to prune quite a bit before flowering. Google monstercropping to see what's ahead!

Ah there is hope then!
(I could use her as mother plant and learn to clone!)
Ok I will carry on with 18/6 for now.
Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.

The light cycle must have changed........a plant won't start flowering on an 18/6 light schedule unless it's an auto. And an auto won't reveg like your plant is doing. Leave it on 18/6 and ride out the reveg........then switch to flower.

I think you've hit the nail on the head!
I'm growing indoors but in the tropics and yes there was several power cuts recently!
FML... but this is the way!
no probs I will ride it out!
Thanks!

Mostly true however if rootbound some strains will bloom even if they are photoperiod plants op just so your aware some things need more root space than others sweet pink grapefruit is one strain for example that will do it if rootbound but there are others and as mickfoster said autos dont reveg they gave you wrong seeds by looks of it

Thanks for the advice about being rootbound. I will definitely keep an eye on that. I think my pots are big enough for now.
I was given the right seeds actually. They were Bruce Banner photoperiods. Now I'm pretty sure that the cause of revegging was disruption in the light cycle due to power cuts. Unfortunately this is a regular occurrence where I live.... I might just stick to growing autos in future as they are not light cycle dependent. I have a couple of auto amnesia growing and they are doing great!
cheers :)

Hello Everyone and a very Happy New Year to you all!
It's been just over two weeks since my last update. Here are a couple of pics of my babies.
As you can see the buds have grown significantly bigger and looking frosty.
I have been keeping her on 18/6 cycle as previously advised... OR should I now switch to 12/12?

Well the problem with reveg is that it’s going to take quite a bit of time for the plant to get back to the point of structure where it makes sense to flower. Like check back in month.

on the plus side you should get some gnarly growth once the plant gets reestablished. Search the term monstercropping

there are peeps on here that have done this and I am sure they will have some suggestions for ya.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes perhaps it is too soon. I will keep it on 18/6 for now and report back in a month.
What concerns me is that the buds have grown bigger, frostier and smellier! Pistils are turning brown as well and there doesnt seem to be any additional leaves growing. It seems as if she's blooming. This is my first grow so obviously I may be over analysing! :wall:

The plant has flowered a bit but I’m not sure exactly how reveg works outside of broscience other than it takes a long ass time to correct itself. Your buds that were there kept swelling while the plant was switching gears back to veg. Again not really sure how it exactly works.
For your first grow I gotta say the plant looks healthy from what I see. Honestly may be faster and better to start over? Hopefully somebody with actual experience revegging a plant offers some advice for yee.
What medium and size container are you growing in? I would include as much info about your setup as possible and attach a few pics of the overall plant. May help people offer some better advice.

Hi there and thanks for the advice. I will upload some more pics when I can. For now I will keep her on 18/6. But if those buds grow any bigger and the trichomes look ripe I will probably just bite the bullet and harvest what I can and let the rest reveg. Maybe try planting a few clones as well.
Anyway, I don't think photos are suitable for growing in my environment which is in the tropics (12/12 all year) and suffers from power fluctuations!
On the other hand I have several auto Amnesia plants on the go and they are happy as Larry!
Oh the medium I use is a mixture of peat moss and perlite + some nutes. No problems with watering so far... the high humidity here means less is definitely more!
Cheers :)
