Fluorescent T8 - Are these Good Enuff

I have (4) 48" fluorescent T8 daylight bulbs @ 32watts, and each with an output of 2700 lumens. Would these be suitable enough to keep over some mother plants?

are you looking to flower or veg the mothers and how big are they and how many?

Veg, about 4-5 (maybe more) in a 4ft wide x 5ft height;

I haven't got them up to that point yet, but that's why I'm checking before I do. Will this be a suitable setup to keep them in veg?

you can definitely veg under fluorescent tubes

i haven't tried t8's, but i did see this one guy's setup for flowering with t8's
put them in a vertical setup, they seem to a pretty good job

they were just standard 32w 4 footers
i'd love to try this, but this setup would be more weed than i like growing in my location
but i am going to try a scrog with t8's on a small scale(128w total)

if you haven't already purchased ur t8s you might want to also consider the high output t5s

yeah, i've thought about the t5's a lot
no question they throw some very high lumens
the t8 setup is so inexpensive, so i'd like to try once to see how it goes
buying the t5's locally doesn't look like an option, rural area, and all the t8 stuff is really easy to pick up

Is it only because you get the higher watt scale. This was kinda why I wanted to make sure the T8 would do the job. 32's were the highest I could get with the model/brand I had. The difference was 15-20 more watt output, and I definitely want the best, if not optimum conditions, but I was able to get a great deal on the T8's. I just hoped that they would do a fairly decent job and the looks of it seems positive. I would definitely make plans for the T5's when I decide to step it up again!! :bigjoint:

i think u can because i have a set up im tryin an my ladies are respondin nice....an i have 2 48'' t-8's in a shop light with 3 150watt cfls ..

heres the room i built for my mothers! its T 12 tho!! jus make sure you get the right bulbs!! most of the good ones are 40 watts though and you can use them just like the 32 watters you got! you'll want at least a 5k spetrum tho! i run verilux full spetrums (2) and gro lux (2) with this set up!!

i just got a t 8 fixture today and 32 watt 2800 lumens 6500k i was wondering how long i should start my master kush out at 24/0 or 18/6? any advice would be great
