For those who transplant - do I go straight from cell pack to my finishing 3gal pot?

Very clear and informative post, thanks for that.

Question; do you think that this illustration of root growth would also apply to fabric pots? I've never gotten bottom-centric root growth with them the way I have with plastic pots. So I guess I'm wondering if you think this would be true (or as true?) if I direct planted into a fabric (or air) pot?
I’ve noticed it in fabric as well well ypu get a better root ball then whatever this guy is showing you

? Lmao what happens when you have a real job brother.. and idk why if you don’t document or take pictures or every little thing that means it didn’t happen? And what I mean by it’s outside is on my property once the plants done I don’t reuse the dirt or anything so I just roll them down into a ravine and they de compose in a few years. And did you hear that ? I roll it lol because it is legit all one solid huge root ball and it’s still there in once piece?? How could the roots have grown outward so fast right from the top soil all the way down ?
