Re: red and purp stem.. They can be rather common I've read. In addition, they can even be traits of particular strains... go off of leaf coloring and spotting, etc

Here are a couple pics from day 49 about a week before i chopped it, i only got 33 grams dry off of it but thats because I only grew it under 128 watts of 4' t8 shop bulbs since my HPS was causing me serious heat issues.

It says it's not the best yeild you get of it, you done good though considering the lighting ..... Its got got the same leaves and red stems as mine, looks very similar :)
What's the bag appeal like dose it smell and do they look good nugs ? Looks nice and frosty in the pics ?

the smell was really different, it was a really sweet smell I don't know how to describe it really almost grossly sweet but still a good smell. Definitely not skunky, the bud was a bit light but thats probably because of the fact that i was using floros. Bag appeal was great cause of the 4 main colas the buds were evenly sized and nice and frosty, the trim was also really covered in trics so you'll definitely want to collect it to make some concentrates or even cannabutter.

Im getting a proper fan and air cooled hood for when I get time to grow again. this is a strain I would do again because I would really like to see what I could do with it with a 600w HPS

Edit- another thing that really added to the bag appeal was the little bit of purple/red in the bud. just enough to give it a bit of color but still a nice green overall

Nice looking buds! Especially for some T8s. I use the same lights for my veg area. Cheap, cheap to run, and get the job done.

I thought about running a grow with like 15-25 coco grow bags from my local hydro store. Then putting two or three seeds per bag (feminized of course) and throwing them under a bunch of T8s at 12/12 straight out the gate. I might just do it one day for shits and giggles. :eyesmoke:

Ha ha go for it be even cheaper and give them a good start if you used cuttings.... :)

Well still here, the flowers are starting to form and the smell is getting stronger, I am yet to figure out what one the smelliest but I am on to her .....

A few bottom leaves are yellowing and I suspect I need to get some cal-mag to help sort this what do you think ....?

yellowing bottom to top is normal during flowering...nothing to worry about fam!

Cheers mate, I thought that, and I have never used that cal mag before was just gonna maybe try it, if I can get round to going for it, get some, and try it, to see if it helped it ...... Ha ha :)

And I will have a proper look at this small tree tonight, it been getting neglected shoved up the back in a corner lol ...You might be right it needs sone loving ... :hump:

I have been growing on and off for 20 years. I prefer canna products for feeding, along with canna boost (great stuff) during flowering I definitely saw the difference in yield and use superthrive as an additive all through the grow. I havent used canna boost with other products so read up on it. You have to be careful using cheap store composts there can be contamination with fungal spores and the like. I used some on one grow, had mushrooms growing in the pots, if that could happen who knows what else could contaminate your grow. Another thing I would suggest is adding superthrive to your feed mixes, it will boost the health and help against disease. Keep an eye on your PH levels on the feed, I had mine around 5.8 after I mixed the feed, that will vary with water temp. I have grown big bang before its not a pongy skunk but its yield is pretty good and it does have a nice stone, (I prefer a heavy stone of the indica varieties rather than satvia). Red Dragon is awesome, you'll have thc like a snow covering not just on the bud but a lot of the leaves too rather than just a mild frost look. The nirvana I wouldn't bother with. yield was poor on mine and hardly worth the pot space if your using the limited area of a tent. Look forwards to more updates on your babies....good luck

welcome and on board and thanks for the tips.... As for nutes though I will just use what I got to finish these off then I will need to buy more if I am to continue, so I will probably try canna and supplements out for a change.
I have had no issue with the soil so far but I can really understand where you are coming from..... Mushrooms in your grow lol :rolleyes:

P.s I looked at that reddragon strain there, sounds good ...have yo grew this if so what makes it a stand out Strain ?

thanks for checking my journal out, yea I love the big dark green leaves on my trainwreck I don't think she is the smelliest though ..... If my buds turn out like that one I will be happy :)

Ok trimmed the Reveg tonight .. It's looking better but I think it could of done with at least another week odd in veg.... But it wil be interesting in how it turns out ..!
