Sorry for no recent update guys, i've been struggling.

The light strip fell and burned my plants for an entire day (im assuming), the bulbs were sitting directly on the plants and crushed/burned the hell out of them. That was about a week ago, I've transferred them since then. They are recovering really, really nicely.

You can see in the pic where the burnt parts of the bud are, and the new growth coming around it.

Two words came to mind. "OH LAWDS"

They seem to have recovered pretty well. So you say they will live? I'm glad to hear that, always wondered what would happen if this were to happen as i go out often so sometimes would not be able to see my plants for a night or two.

It sucked man, i was really upset. I wasnt sure if theyd survive at first, you can see the brown in the second picture? The entire top of the plant was like that. I wish i had gotten pics. All of the green at the top of it is brand new growth, the brown seems to be slowly disappearing. I took extra precautions to make sure that didnt happen again this time >_> (zip ties)

Here's a update!
The middle of the bud is still fried but doing significantly better. I have a few close ups of it, its nasty looking. The buds are starting to get frawsti and with that comes a real strong smell.

I think i neglected to tell you guys one of these seeds are a freebie. It's a dinafem critical+, and it's the burnt one. The growth is significantly better than the AK 47, in the same conditions. It's kinda annoying.

Thats a hard question to answer lol. With cheap carbon filters on the outsides of the fans, and a air purifier in my room there is almost no smell. But i think that has something to do with the dryness of the plant, i water mine once every 10 days. When i water them, the stank comes out for a few hours then settles down. Idk i might just be high :D

Hey, was looking around for somewhere in stealth to ask about carbon filters for PC grow box with a question I don't feel warrants its own thread and this looks it!
My question was, I'm going to be constructing this for my mrgrowpro PC grow case : https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/101248-best-diy-ez-walmart-carbon.html
And was just wondering if I can stick it on the inside of the case against the extractor fan, so that it drag's air into the pencil case pot bit and out of the fan.
You guys think that would work? Thanks a lot, and also if you do how will it be effected vs the conventional way of sticking it on the back of the case externally.
Cheers guys

I think that you would have a really rough time fitting that in the case while having room for a sufficient amount of lights and then the plant. It's not impossible, but in my case i have a two inch gap of space and thats about it. As the plants get taller, i lower the base they are sitting on by removing books, so theres no room for anything at all. lol. Sticking it on the outside of your case seems like the most reasonable thing to do in this situation, but then again, that filter is made for a high CMF fan and i have a feeling a CPU fan wouldnt even be able to push air through it.

Cheers for the reply, my grow box came today and has a carbon filter sheet with it, I hope this will be fine as I am using ONA block with it aswell.

marijuana is a very hardy plant ( to a degree of course lol ) ...
When I was a 'young buck' I threw some bag seeds in the ground and one turned out to be a male.... I tore it out and threw it onto a rock pile....

1 week later I came back and the roots had grown back into the fucking ground and the stalk was starting to grow vertical again..... o_O

Im not trying to give you shit or anything lol but i have that same carbon sheet, at the most it catches dust and slows down air flow. If you double stack those carbon filter sheets you might have better results, they sell them at walmart and lowes..but that would slow down air flow even more depending on your fan strength. You'll prolly have to play around with it til you get the temps and everything right.

Here's some more pics, day 43.

Thanks for the info dude, nah not giving me shit or anything, it's helping me out! At the moment it's a large one that is folded in half (so double thickness) and on the exhaust, I thought I would be ok with that and an ONA block, I would always have a spare of both because unfortunately I don't have lowes or walmart in UK so I am forced to order pretty much everything offline. Anyway I can't get a hold of the exact same carbon filters that came with it and was going to use this as a replacement: http://www.aquariumonline.co.uk/pond_filters_uvcs_heaters_and_vacuums/replacement_foams_and_media/reticulated_foam_carbon_foam_and_filter_wool/carbon_impregnated_foam_sheet_17in_x_11in_x_1in_P926.html
What are your thoughts on that one? Because I can't really upgrade the fan as stealth is a key element for me, and fans that can pull through carbon filters would not be quiet enough for me.

ugh for me.
I might just be high but the filters I get are air filters, the holes are way smaller and less porous than that. I think water filters and air filters are different. Also my filters are like $4.50 for a five pack o.o

Oh, I'm not 100% sure on what I'm looking for filter wise, I tried looking for those water filters online but couldn't find any :s
Will my local pets mart have them by any chance? Because that is really the only place that I have near me, or could you possibly provide a link?
Thanks again for the help!

Well like i said, you dont really want water filters. The air filters are really easy to find, though. Anywhere that sells air purifiers, or a hardware store..general purpose stores all have them. Here we have home depot, lowes, walmart, ect. Unfortunately i know nothing about the uk xD..I doubt pet stores would have it though.

I basically just cut mine to the shape of my fan, but it restricted air flow and held heat in when i double layered it. However, it does seem to reduce the vibration and quiet down your fans. Velcro is really good for holding them in place btw. keeping a computer completely stealthy isnt that hard, but the smell is definitely your biggest issue if you need legitimate stealth. Right now ive removed the filters, and im not even using a cpu case anymore, but my plants started smelling when they were still in veg and between that and the heat, it got potent. The higher your temps are, the more smell you will have problems with. I suggest keeping it in a very cool room. With lower temps you will also get more dense bud, more stealth, less smell.

Example, my entire basement stinks right now because its in the high 80s. During night when i get home and its in the mid 60's, the smell isnt even noticeable.
