hey peoples, just added XL and gave her her 2nd week flush, frsh nutes and all.

will be monitering PH level over next few hrs very regularly , as i have never used XL before (super phosphoric acid)

after adding nutrient the ph went to around 6.5-6.6 before thinking of touching up or down adjusters, then i added XL!!! ph dropped to 4.22 OMG freakin out man!!! so i added ph up bit by bit untill i reached 5.8, turned the pump on and let her recirculate, after 5 minutes of circulating PH went up to 6.00.....

so i will be taking precautions, i have added a few drops of 'down', pump is off, i will check again for next feeding, i really dont want the PH to jump too drastically, as i know recirculating systems need a small buffer window each day, as nutrient gets used up , and changes ph, and salt levels

hope this helps a few people who may be interested in using Cycoflowers CYCO XL ......

Guys i use pureau water from woolies . Or i boil tap water for half an hour. But for 10 litres its $7. It has no salts, no bacteria, no fluride and heavy metals . Simply it is pure water. It comes in casks like goon haha.

Man buy an r/o filter. Mine was about $150 and its got all four filters and is the maximum flow u can get too. It screws on to any ordinary garden tap. Look up pure water club on ebay.

I use a lot of water at the moment about 10 liters a day so in 21 days at $7 dollars a day it will pay for its self in 3 weeks

For that price I would guess u got all filters plus a storage tank so u font have to wait for the water like I do plus in guessing its an under sink job.

I spent a lot of time researching so that I bought exactlty what I needed and nothing else to save money
