Ome have u heard of sog. Get a good mother take a bunch of clones and put em all straight into flower sog style, quick effective way to fill your grow space

yeah, definitely aware of SOG...I was more thinking about finding that mother plant...like buying 10 regular seeds in order to find a mother to take clones of...wouldn't do SOG though, I'm a scrog man...SOG for me is only when doing commercial operations.

the reason I say 10 ounces dry is because I divided up his 1709 wet figure by 6 and then divided that by 28.

New Buds on finished colas help![/h]
Hi new to all this forum business but ive looked all over the internet for someone with the same problem and to no avail so here i go...
im an experienced grower i kno all the usual stuff, ive been grwing 3 strains white rhino, tangerine dream and vanilla kush i had them in 17 and half litre pots under a 600w light (big breath)
I normally chuck them in 35 litre pots let the buds get nice and big i was supposed to do this novermber 28 now because of some shiznizz i needed to take care of this didnt get sorted untill the last week in dec, 6 1/2 weeks into the budding cycle... everythings cool now fastforward to today, i have huge colas with hairs completely yellow not that loveley brown and on top of them ive got 16-18 new prebuds the small leave looking things with hairs that you get a couple weeks into the cycle now this i could understand but underneathe these huge mfs are perfectly formed buds that are quite big (will furnish with pics when poss) and completely ripe and brown ready to come off if im honest : )
can anyone help me will these preflowers turn into colas on top of colas? has the thc production slowed down as a result any help would be massivly appreciated. thanks Ganjaman

To me that sounds like pollen chucking. Buying 2 ten packs of each breeders seeds and then crossing the best of both. An F1 with many keepers to be found means to me that they are unstable genetics.

Is my understanding of breeding or this strain specifically incorrect?

xl_small.pnganyone used Cyco XL??? i'm bout to use it for week 3, just getting some opinions, thats not to say i might change whether or not i'm gonna use it. i am, just making some people aware of this product, i'll give the write up from the site..... it contains 0.40.0 (40% phoshorous)


Super Phosphoric acid is produced from phosphates by reacting with sulphuric acid. The acid is reacted with alkaline salts to produce purified phosphates. Plants need phosphorus and phosphorus containing compounds as they play a vital role in photosynthesis. Super Phosphoric acid also aids in root development and helps increase the uptake of iron, nitrogen and potassium.
Cyco XL used in the early stages of growth (not recommended before week 3) of a plants growth stage will help with the uptake of the above mentioned elements and increase root growth more rapidly.
Any increase in root growth will increase the amount of root hairs on your plant allowing for more absorption of water and nutrients.

yo flowie im starting a grow with cyco once my current plants are finished. i scored one of those platinum packs in a raffle so im going to give it a shot. i wont be using pgr's this time around, maybe next time if this one goes well. just wondering if you have any tips for me?

awsome to hear man! another cyco grower ;) i totally think its worth the $, i'll keep buying the shit no worries, yeah i'll be giving cyco XL my first go this friday, bit nervous, but i got my ph adjusters, so she'll be right, hope for the best, in s shop the XL sells for $70-$80 buks by itself

and as for PGR's yeah givem a go, u will either like them or you won't, i say go half strength, thats what i'm gonna do this time, give the nugs a more natural look, not soo fat, i personally go for quality, i'll keep growin and growin, winter / summer i dont give a fuck, greenhouse / indoor, i'm happy.

and tips, go easy at first, the cyco nutrients are stronger than alot of the others, more concentrated, u can smell the difference trust me and alternate with the additives, i watch for changes in colour when i give it something different, with cyco the results are very quick, and you can visually see changes you make on a daily basis........i say if the leaves look perky, u got a good nute mix (with no nute burn ofcourse) if the leaves look droopy, give little more, providing you are feeding the correct amount of water to oxygen ratio,


soil or hydro??? if u are soil, follow their soil chart strictly, as for hydro go little bit less i say unless you use RO water (reverse osmosis) for those of you that dont know what that is, it is water filtered to an extreme level, to take out many metals and lower the EC level....
