Thanks for link +rep.
Which one will be your main one? looks like you had success with your clones! Can't wait to clone (fuck it up no doubt) then get it right :D hahaha.
I agree sometimes its hard to keep up with loads of threads but tbh mine no one there so its easy for me. Most the time I can't even find it myself lmao.

Thanks for the rep bud, it'll be reciprocated ;)

I'm the same with all these threads mate, I can't keep up so I don't even try any more. There's only a few that I keep up with; my three, Troutie's and a few others that are similar to mine in case I need to ask questions for quick responses. I'll have to go check out yours too when I find time so I can get an idea of your grow space.

As for a main one... I'm hoping for three main ones hehehe
Out of what I've got though, I'm thinking Fruit Punch could be one that I stick with and maybe the Budziller.
But realistically, I want to make femmed seeds from all the ones that I have and like so I can go ahead and try two or three new strains and then come back to these if they're not as good.
I want to end up with a perpetual grow with strains that I both like, and can sell. This could take some time to find the right strains that work for me, but I really don't think that trying out different strains is going to be a huge problem ;)

haha I don't think I would even put my enemies through the pain of being in my shed! Smells and just horrible... well actually would probably put the ex in there.... fucking bitch... ha. Moving on....

Sounds like me Cucumber, trying to find a strain i like and can grow out with good quality and good yields to make ££££. I think once find a good strain then pin down how it grows from clone and how long takes its easy enough from there. Just can never trust the seedbank stated flowering times. its a try it yourself unknown.

Unfortunately sometimes you have to do what you got to do to help out family.
I don't Grow or Sell weed either. I sell tomatoes but very similar just legal :D Which I love. My friends love juicy red tomatoes.

4 cuts taken from Fruit Punch and 2 cuts from Big Bud.

I'm secretly hoping that this Big Bud is a male as I really need the space for my Budziller cuts in a few weeks. If it's female, then at least I'll get some decent sized buds from it and get to save my Budziller for a little bit... Not sure how I feel about that though...

Powdered rooting hormone and root riots were used alongside my homemade propagator. I didn't use my proper one as it's too big. But all should be fine, fingers crossed!

I also Intend to throw my next cheese clone into the box later, after potting it up. So I'll get some pics of the new cuts then ;)

Sounds good man!
I checked my girls this morning and all dropped as fuck! Panicked but thought hold on, fed &watered and good as new give or take some N deficiency :)

Also hows your cloning skills? I took 4 cuts on hulboldt and currently in a glass of water still perky. Kind of just want to stick em in soil and see what happens. No rooting hormone etc. I'm sure should work out. Not bothered if die tbh. What you think? Will work? Got heat pad to put under em

Can't say as I've never tried it. You'll never know if you don't try though ;)

my grandad use to water clone his cuttings ... if they are green and lush they shouldn't need rooting compound ..... (i don't know correct terms i've never done it) ... but if they are woody cuttings then they will need rooting powder is the rule of thumb.... anyways with the cloning ... thats as much as i can remember, but i was only 6 yrs old

soil cloning will work with the correct soil .... but takes ages and ages to root ..... so be patient!! ... its by far the longest way to root a clone

wow mate i'm impressed .... your gonna be so much more experienced then me in cloning and the such before i even get my first photoperiod grow underway, but at least i can come to you first before posting a new help thread and getting the usual 5 "search it for yourself" responses LOL ...
oh either that or look in my new grow bible :-) ...santa loves the trout :-) :-) (he dont love me enough to give me a 60mm macro lens ... but i do)

In all honesty this is the first time that I've taken my own cuts. So it's a learning curve all the way man. But sure I've learned a few things from others from watching and asking questions and as a result, it's not actually that hard. The truth about these plants is that they're weeds. And weeds naturally are strong plants, they have to be to compete with the other foliage that they grow amongst. Pretty much all hardships, they can overcome. For instance, as DJ says above, he's using bare cuts with only water - I strongly suspect that they will survive and probably do well too!
I have of course started these plants with root riots from seed, but that's slightly different I think. Seeds... you can throw them anywhere and they'll grow... But cuts need a little more care and attention or they'll just dry out and die.

My BB cuts were just a tad to long... I'm suspecting that I did this purposely and subconsiously lol They're bent over already... They'll prob be okay though, but I'm still secretly hoping them to be males lol I'd much rather be using my limited space for strains that I want.

The FP cuts look like good cuts though, I think they'll all do well :) I'm considering my options now with the Mother... whether to give her to me mate and keep all my cuts, or flower her off before I flower the cuts... I'd rather flower the cuts. So I guess that solves that question lol

i dunno about the bb .... i like my green o'matics now i'm smoking it ... its ok (needs taste)... but i love the way it grew out... think the bb will be like that for you ... but i think it'll be better bud (thats if its not male)

the fruit punch is deffo gonna be a winner .... can't wait for that to get fat :-)

i'm watching to see how the clones work out mate

BB's already standing up-right! They were bent over all day yesterday and suddenly, WOOP! Think I'm gonna need some new pots LoL and some new soil!
The FP's are looking as lush as the Cheese did when I first brought them home, so I see good things only for these blighters! ;)

I'm thinking this time I'll go with some coco pebbles and make a mix with the ole Homebase £3 a bag, stuff.

I can't wait for the Cheese to get fat! I know it's going to, after seeing what my mate has got in his tent! His cola's are effing huge!! and with some weeks left can only get bigger still!!

yeah it wont hurt to try new methods as you grow-along ....lol ... find what works, a little research before might save you a heartache or two... i have been dying to get back to the hydro shop to get some soil builking goodies ... gonna try out a few things with my usual light mix.. which i have now run out of LOL, need to get over there soon

hahahaha ... what has your mate been showing you in his tent LOL ... glad to hear his cola is also huge :-)

News update.

Big Bud cut has gone in the box. Roots were not showing through the root riot but the thing was standing up tall, which is always a good sign that the cut has taken. I put it in a little two inch pot and will just leave it in that - I only want to know the sex, if it flowers fem then I'll leave it to finish before deciding what to do with the mother.

Both mothers have had a HUGE trim and both still have at least 8 more viable cut points already. I removed all fan leaves and topped the stems, I don't want them growing tall and only proved me with cuts.
They do look funny lol more like little baby trees, I'll try and get you some pics by tomorrow ;)

My Budziller is doing pretty well too, looking very healthy. Looking forward to cutting her in a few weeks or so.

yeah i ended up with a traffic jam because my first three took forever to finish... caused me a nightmare, .... so your having good results from your cloning then? have you had to throw any away?

Ha! Mines gonna be Picadilly soon as well lol
Nope, not had to throw any of them. But I am a little concerned about them still...

My big bud cuts certainly have taken and are standing up straight.
So I threw the one I had left into the box. It's doing well so far. I'll leave it in this pot if it's female and see how it does.

The fruit punch cuts are not doing so good, They decided to have a lay down, but have slightly started aiming upwards. The colours have changed to yellow but new growth areas are still green which is a good sign and the stems have thickened up nicely. All of which suggests that they are doing their stuff behind the scenes.

BB and FP Mothers have been pruned and look very pretty as ornamental hedgerows lol. Soon to be providing me with more cuts :) They're already capable, but I want to take further cuts from further up to top this time, leaving the bottom ones to produce my growth sites.
