That thing is throwing nanners that hard already you're going to miss something period. It'll pollinate and seeds. Life finds a way.
Maybe just maybe but I also had three plants in the same tent with the one that had nanners with no negative effect to the others ..some hermies pollen can be sterile

at times yes. Very few though. Is it worth risking? Not for me in any situation Regardless of what scale I’m growing on. I would much rather toss and reset.

It was a a seed found in a bag of weed. this it came from unstable stock. Same thing with exotic genetix. They used to have some really good stuff Then he began tossing shit around and not stabilizing strains causing alot of his seed stock to be prone to herm out. It’s not hard to figure out. Why were there seeds in said bag of weed? Either A: the grower screwed something up and caused the plant to herm out no big deal or B: this is most likely the ops issue it was unstable stock to begin with causing it to herm as bad as it did.
“The reason you got a hermie is because of unstable bag seed.”

I guess I misspoke with the “might see it out”. I’m definitely going to see it out, not only to see the final result, but I need work on my drying/curing. I gave both plants a really good going over and pulled what I could find. I suspect some were just a big calyx, but I plucked anyway to be sure.
I can’t access the back side of plants at the moment, just watered and heavy as hell, but will turn em tomorrow and go over all again.
Some of the stickiest, dankass, buds I ever smoked was 20 yrs ago and had yellow nanners on em. 20 yrs ago to date that was a Top5 best buds I ever smoked.. :blsmoke: The ole grower said "awe just pick them yellow flower things out n she be good" Some of today's top strains come from ole school growers doing the bag seed breeding. Just sayin. bongsmilie

If you’re running a perpetual grow I completely agree but couple months is a lot to throw away to start over

I’ve done it before perpetual growing. I have a certain standard. I realize it’s not for everyone but regardless if it was legal or not my name was on it. I strive for only the best. So seeds or even the possibly of seeds have always and will always be a big no for me.

What about light pollution? I think it was a killer for me.
No power strip or equipment with illuminated switches/indicator or the like?
Tent not leaking light during lights out?
Someone please correct me if I’m way off base.

I do believe nanners can come from light leakage . For my grow the chance is there, I’ve never gone in to make certain during lights out. I tested how dark it was prior to setting any plants in the room and made sure to cover all light sources (led lights on humidifiers etc). So not 100%, but feel confident this wasn’t from light leak

So follow question about my hermie situation;
I first found the nanners June 24, it’s now July 8th and I haven’t seen any fully formed sacs. I found the odd nanner here and there, but should it have had full sacs by now?
I’m not sure how long fully developed sacs to show, but was thinking I should’ve seen some signs of full on balls at this point.
Long shot maybe, but hoping any pollen is sterile
