I generally make edibles with hash and test them a lot!
Process:
1.Get some quality hash or kief - I use my own bubble hash when I can.
2. Keep it very cold by putting it in the freezer in a small bowl with a cover. (this keeps it from gumming up)
3. Pulverize the cold hash or kief in a coffee/spice grinder for about 5 seconds.(shake it while grinding to get all large pieces ground)
4. Collect the powder into a dry bowl with a cover and put back int he fridge. (a very small dry paint brush will help)
5. In a double boiler heat some butter (salted) to 125 degrees F.
6. Quickly add the powdered hash - be quick so it won't stick to the bowl.
7. Stir with a wisk and ensure the powder is spread throughout the butter - break up any clumps.
8. Stir often for 20 minutes at 125 degrees F.
9. Let it cool in the fridge for a couple of hours until its thick again.
10. Use it in your recipe. You may need to add a tablespoon of water as well due to heating the butter for so long. If your dough is to dry that's why.
My favorite cookie recipe calls for 1 cup of butter and so I use at least 2.5 grams of hash per cup.
This makes
30 cookies at 80mg strength. pretty good for anyone that weighs 180-250 lbs
40 cookies at 60 mg strength. good for someone that weighs 120-180 lbs
50 cookies at 40 mg strength. good for someone that weighs 90-150

1. When consuming marijuana as food, it is important to also eat good food and drink water! This gets your metabolism going and allows you to absorb the medicine better.
