Full Moon Scrog +

I can't believe it's only been 8 weeks and it is already ready to harvest , I thought she would of had to go 11 weeks at least... I'm happy about it though!!I'll be harvesting this after noon!! I'll post up some pics tonight!
I read somewhere that when you harvest you should cut down the plants during the dark cycle. So what I did id last night when the lights went off at 6 pm I unplugged the light. I may not explain this right but here goes anyway ..... The reason for harvesting in the dark is when the lights go on the plants think that it is day time and starts to produce chlorophyll. Also when the lights go one the plant starts to suck up nutes, Both nutes and chlorophyll will effect the taste of the bud, and this is why we harvest in the dark. I have tried this before and it seems to work for me, so I will stick with it. Some people say to let it sit in the dark for 48 hours, before harvesting, I like to give it about 20 hours.
Ok I'm going to drink my morning cup of coffee and then get started. I'll take some before pics in the dark for you all, and then some after pics in the light!!

I actually got busy yesterday taking care of my mom, her cancer is getting real bad. I was not able to finish harvesting, but I will finish today. A good thing is that i got a package from HTG yesterday and in it I ordered a new pair of pruning scissors, so I can use them to finish harvesting , and they will make it much quicker for me..

awww. im sorry to hear about thaat man. =/ hope she gets better. does she smoke? wonderin if the weed would help her? well regardless man. good luck with everything man. i needa get sum new scissors too. mine are covered with resin. and arent very sharp anymore.

Hey man sorry about ya ma, i was in a similar situation when i was 18. Apart from my ma had MS. Enjoy ya harvest anyways bro. Peace
This is my harvested Feminized Full Moon plant! I would guess after I remove the bud from the stem I will end up with about 1 to 1 1/2 ounces of dry bud.

HAHA im the same way, its lucky if it makes it to the jar before i try and roll a junt, always gata get a sample taste lol
All the samples I've sampled so far have been great, I'm putting it into jars today after I pick out a few more samples for me to sample. After it cures for about a week I will post up a smoke report, after another sample of course! Have a happy new year I know I will.

My bad, Smoke report..... A very nice fresh after taste, I like it a lot. Good High but did not last as long as I thought it would,, But it was harvested 2-3 weeks early. I found three premature seeds in the once. Cough-lock but worth it. Over all Full Moon is my second fav strain. The only thing I did not like was the yield.. I got 1 once off of the 1 plant scrog full moon, I got 4 onces off of an Aurora Indica plant grown the same way. The only difference was the Full Moon was grown in a 5 gallon pot and the Aurora Indica was in a 3 gallon pot. Very good weed, I wish I did not smoke it all already. lol I just finished making some canna butter last night, got some eggs at the store today and tonight I'm making green sugar cookies! The green comes from the butter! LOL The butter was made with 35 grams of sweet leaf, NO FAN LEAVES. and it was made with Papaya, White Widow and Full Moon sweet leaf ! I'll let you know how the cookies come out!
