I do live near you. The BTi doesn't last long in the soil. I use it every watering. 5 drops or more. The soil filters it so my runoff collects and gets the bottom of my fabric pots. Fungus gnats are bastards. I haven't seen any for weeks but new soil brought in a few. They have no way to multiply here. I keep a spray bottle of zymes for any I see and for crawlers on the soil surface. The BTi wipes the larvae out 100% as long as they contact it.Thanks for the tip and the photo showing the brand you use. I've had so-so results from crushed Mosquito dunk BTi, but I know your stuff is stronger. Most growers try to say that it's just overwatering that causes them but they obviously don't live near me. They are a plague here. Even bottom watering with fabric bags doesn't stop them. They've gotten much worse the past couple years.
