General Hydroponics Flora Series

Is there anyone out there that uses GH Flora Series (the three part micro/bloom/gro) in a soil medium that could share the feeding mix and schedule that they use. I know some people are gonna say read the directions on the bottle, and well i know that a healthy plant can be fed more than the mix on the bottle has. I am just having problems with my schedule and amount. I would appreciate the help as i am still pretty new to this thank you all who take the time to read this.

I mostly do hydro but I also have a few going in soil right now to. For clones and seedlings I use Happy Frog soil. For the first couple weeks I only used ph'd water until the plants start showing a slight yellow tint then I use a batch of ph'd nute solution following the gen hydro charts.I water them once the soil looks dry.

Yeah im using tap water but its good water i've tested it both ph and ppm im just having a hard time fine tuning my ratio and schedule i'll either slightly burn the tips, or they will show deficiency, or they look great. i was just looking for someone that had been using the same product in soil and had a program that worked for them. Thinking of switching to hydro next go around or switch nutes.

For veg, you could go (mls/gallon):

G 1.5 mls
M 1.5 ml
B 1 ml

For flower (mls/gallon):

G 0
M 2.5
B 5

This should give you some good results.

Generally, I'll feed, feed, flush, repeat. When i 'flush' i use plain tap water in the same volume as when i feed.

I'm basically looking for the same info... Doing my first hempy bucket (second grow). I too will be using the GH 3 part flora. I know I want to keep the PH around 6.

I'm still fairly new to this all, and am not sure what people mean when they say check the PPM. I'm using well water which I've tested with some pool strips and has the following:

Hardness: 100ppm
Chlorine: 0ppm
pH: 8
Alkalinity: 200ppm
Cyranic Acid: 0ppm

So what is it people mean when they reference checking your ppm? Confused because all the above (except pH) are in ppm. And what is a good feeding schedule for this? I know I will have to get some pH down to get that where I want it. But for a hempy using the GH nutes, I'd love to find a good feeding mix/schedule as I've never used this stuff before. If it makes a difference, I'm doing the hempy with straight perlite.

Is hempy buckets drain-to-waste growing?

I'm not sure but I think so... I'm kinda following this video that shows how to do a hempy bucket:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hWmTpcFWws

The only difference is I'm using straight perlite, and where the hole in the bucket is, I attached some tubing with a screen around it (and sealed it with some silicon glue) for the drain so I could avoid having a catch pan under each bucket. Like I said, I'm still very new to all this.

BTW, I figured out the PPM thing... It's for the Total Disolved Solids... So last night I ordered on of these:

Nope a hempy bucket is considered passive hydro as it basically relies on wickig the utes up through the perlite/vermiculitte mix and it wouldnt be considered recirculating either basicaly I think you kinda treat it like soil growing as the ph is almost where you need it for soil and the only difference is in a soil grow in pots there is no perched water table unlike a hempy grow in which you tap root is sitting in the water at the bottom of the pot which allows it to suck nutrients frm the bottom of the buckets at which point the roots will then excrete water into dryer areas of the pot to free up available nutrients.
