Ok so ONE seed sprouted out of like 8, and I decided to put it in the pot when it Hadnt sprouted that much. I dont know if that was mistake number 1 or what? Then I put it under my light with saran wrap, but the light is not that close to it, and its been close to a week and nothing yet. I know this is was probably a dumb idea to but I tried to see if it was making any progress and I couldnt find it....so I guess it died???? Was it the soil? I had regular organic vegetable soil mixed with perlite. Now I have no more good seeds, I just have schwag seeds. Whats the difference with schwag seeds? Is schwag like an actual plant or just the bad grown weed basically?

Well first off I would have waited until fully cracked and a root showing, lol. Then I would have placed it root down in a moist organic peat plug or a moist rockwool cube. Then under a dome with 24 hours light for like 3 to 5 days until you see a sprout. Keep the plugs moist, not too wet. Once you see the sprout, mist it daily. Once you have about 2 or 3 nodes high, you can pot it a larger pot in the soil mix.
As for the schwag seeds, did you smoke the weed they came from? Was it an good? If so try to germinate thoses seeds. Good luck.:peace:

Hey Chiceh, is it a mistake to put fully cracked seeds with nice roots showing directly into soil instead of rockwool? Do they even stand a chance in soil this early?

Thank-You kindprincess!
Yeah, it's hard to know if you are giving too much water or not enough.
Do I put lighting over it now or wait until it breaks the soil? What lighting do I start with? Should I have them on a warm surface?

Thanks for any and all help:bigjoint:
Happy tokin'!

i keep lights on mine so when the sprout they have light already. they'll sprout in the dark, but will stretch if you dont' get light to them pretty quick.

WEll I know you dont want to use to much light when they're little and still sprouting or you'll burn them, but I guess I just over watered mine or Just didnt wait long enough to plant it. I had those Peat pellets, and those worked pretty good, but I dont have anymore.

As for the schwag seeds, It was good schwag but its nothing compared to the dro that I get, and then Ofcourse theres also times when I just get boozy schwag where it just looks like damn tree bark.

how deep did you put the seed in the soil?you might have put it too deep thats why you couldnt find it!a cm or so deep is fine then sprinkle some soil over it and gently pat it down!not too compact, make sure you water the soil first, not too much tho and not too little!seeds will sprout without light but as soon as they crack the surface of the soil they'll need light!

What kind of lighting do I put over them at first (before they break the soil)?
flouro's, tubes or cfl's. i use a 400w mh, but i keep it 2.5 feet above them when they sprout. after five days of stretching, i lower it to 18 inches (not air cooled).
