f2,f3,f4 and so on same thingWhat do mean you "backcrossed" it?
ya and keep doing it until it is just what ya want for the pheno and its consicdent on all traitsAh, you just mean you picked out a nice male and female that both exhibit traits of the pheno you want?
thats what should happen i beleive at least thats what i do to get the pheno's i wantI'm doing an indoor Jackberry grow now to enhance my outdoor grows and have a green and a purple male pheno clone. Of my four females, one appears to be the green pheno, one the purple and the other two look like a combo. So, if I crossed the two purple phenos, then take the seeds and do it again and again, I should wind up with seeds that produce nearly all purple?
I've read about crossing offspring males that exhibit certain desired qualities you want, back to the mother to nail down those traits. I need a good reference for breeding.
all is good been getting ready for springHope All Is Well Getaway! prayers too you and yours
