...the only reason I say that...is that I know for a fact that they do random drug screenings with x-rays and drug dogs
more so than the USPS... now granted... H can be hidden a hell of a lot easier than most substances... but still.
not something you want to go telling someone that it's safe to do...because it's extremely risky.
I've heard too many sob stories from waaayyyy too many people who put waaaaay too much faith in a paid couriers....

i quit cold turkey.
I also found that staying a low profile and getting rid of all the people in my life who also supported my heroin and drug problems had to go as well or i wouldve never gotten off it. I got rid of all the people i associated it. I went so far as to MOVE apartments ,change my phone number, delete all social media. and just stopped doing it. Keep busy. though or else youll get bored.

Becareful with ibogaine. With experienced support there are still fatalities and the chances go way up when you don't have experienced people around you keeping you safe.

Personally, I've done both many, many times..bring onto flight vs send ahead. My preference is send ahead. THIS IS ALL AT YOUR OWN RISK..If I didn't make that clear. Merely a suggestion as the OP was looking for..
I know for a FACT there are NO X-rays or dogs in those PRIVATE corporations. They would NEVER budget that type of money or slow down their production..they CAN randomly inspect..which they do. Random inspections are usually reserved for questionable packages..FEDEX new policy is ON TIME or FREE..you be the judge.
I did a ton of research before trying out my theory and it works like a charm every time..AT MY OWN RISK of course.
I do want to add that I send small amounts which is what OP was looking to do as well..a thought just occurred to me..if you are concerned with theoretical X-ray, foil line your package or foil cover, put in thermos..there's a million ways..AT YOUR OWN RISK

hey what got you on the H in the first place? i am on pain meds for chronic back pains and i am on percocet and methidone. if i go more then a day without meds i go into withdraw so i feel your pain, knowing that you will be low or out just makes things worse for you and everyone your around.. vicoden will help but its going to take a large dose to get the icky's off your back..when in the pain clinic they tell you to do a drug holiday so the meds will react better for you due to tolerance. how many days is the trip for? the vicoden that you need to get is going to be without the Tylenol in it. its all the good stuff. even methidone will let you go into withdraw. its the worst thing anyone should have to go thru. but cold turkey is NOT the way to get off a very addictive narcotic. get a support group and friends that will help you not get your hands on anything. i have been there my brother and it sucks ass and if you can stat clean more power to you and if you need any support from here i am always on so dont hesitate to hit me up. i will help any way i can.. GOOD LUCK AND CATCH SOME FISH WITH POPS AND HAVE A GREAT TIME YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THAT TIME WILL BE GONE .. GODS SPEED MY BROTHER..

A good certified sub doctor will (depending on addiction criteria) give you just enough, make you bring another adult to hold your meds to bring you down the proper way without pain and suffering..most people have jobs and can't afford to take a few weeks off..have you ever tried to work while detoxing?
For restless legs, ask the doctor for ropinirole/Requip RX..it works!

i never had convulsions and i think convulsions is a hollywood sterotype imho.
and i think its stupid to substitute heroin for another drug .youll just get addicted to that

I really do want to quit. I just don't want to go through withdrawal when I see my father for the first time in some years.
I'll be facing the problem as soon as I get home from that.
I'll be using some tramadol to lessen the symptoms rather than subs. Not to replace dope... to help get off it.
2-3 wks from now i'll have a success story to share. i'm sure of it.
I just setup an appt with a doc... two days after I get back from this trip. So, it's a start.

Good luck man. My cousin got 3 years for robbing a pharmacy when he was a heroin addict. Hes out now and i have to say hes a much healthier, smarter, nicer, sociable and more motivated person. Erase all trace of past "associates" from your life. Dont fight the withdrawls, relish in them. It means you are making a substantial change. 
IMO Substituting Tramadol for Suboxone with a heroin addiction, is like throwing a bucket of water on a building fully engulfed in flames.

I do wonder why anyone would start taking just about the only drug that is guaranteed to kill you eventually.. I hear the high is amazing.. but life is way more important
