Getting to One gram pre watt

I've been using thousands for almost 6 years & feel if I try something "cheaper" it would be disastrous in my garden. I'm already getting 3lbs plus out of straight coco in 15 gallon geo pots#bawse! & that's with co2

@Carolina Dream'n A green house is a better investment. You can use GLR with low consumption florescent over winter to prevent them from flowering. And you can cover them over the summer to shorten the days. A professional greenhouse would cost you much cheaper than 48k setup. You can have 2 instead. One flower one veg and vice verse so you can have constant harvest all the time.

Only example.
Like I said before, a few times now, outdoor isn't an option.

500 lights where? Under the central mall? May I ask how big should be your warehouse to cover 48 lights?
What ventilation do you use to maintain temperature of such area? What is you reservoir capacity to water the whole field?
What potting medium do you use? Do you realize thats 1200 plants potting mixture that has to be replaced after each harvest? Do you understand a Hermie equals to field full of seeds?
Do you change lights over veg and flower? How often do you have ballast failior?

Single person would hardly manage to maintenance 48 light area from seed to harvest.
Not to mention distribution.

And yet again more than 12k setup is a waste of money. I even consider 12k a waste of money.
For a grand you can cover a whole garden with screen and grow a few plants outdoors.
For a little more you make a green house. If you are a professional grower you would have constant harvest all year around.
Cheaper costs and more efficient light source.
You need to do more research and less proselytizing.

Jesus Christ. Ignorance is bliss.

1. Northern California and Southern Washington. Seen multiple 500 light setups when I was out there. Saw a 250 light setup when I was in Colorado.
2. 40ftx50ft
3. A total of 8 36k mini splits cools the 48 lights. 6k per 1000. Their is no "ventilation". They are sealed rooms.
4. 125 gallon Rez per 12 thousands watts.
5. Promix cut with oyster shell flour, ewc and perlite. The leftover goes to a compost pile and will b used in vegi garden.
6. 3 gallon grow bags. Less than 5 cents a piece. Replace every time.
7. Hermies lol I grow from clones, the same strain for 6 years.
8. I have a dedicated veg room that runs 4 1000w mh bulbs. I use the same mh bulbs the first week or so of flower to help with transition to flower from veg.
9. No ballast failed yet. Had an ac fuck up, but that's what they make high temp shut offs for. No damage done.
10. There isn't much to it. Trimming is the most work. Second is cloning. other than moving plants around and training on trellis in flower I don't have anything else to do. The watering system is 100% automated.
11. Not sure how you consider an investment with a 100% return in 4 months is a "waste of money". Show me ANY other investment that sees that kind of return.

Outdoor is not an option, while I'd love to, I can't.

12. I harvest 12 lights every two weeks, how is that not harvesting year around?
Nice setup. Clearly, you've been doing while others have been yapping.

NOT ONE PERSON COULD HANDLE A GROW OF THAT SIZE ON THEIR OWN(cloning, veg, flower,TRIM,dry, cure and fkn still be standing after it......so fuk any RESPECT I ever had for you ..........YOUR SIGNATURE SAYS IT ALL..........FKN DREAMING...........capish........

I can't grow outdoor. So no I don't know what your talking about. But that has absolutely nothing to do with anything at all.

I deleaf and destem everything before it goes into the trim pro. I can trim a pound in about 3 hours.

48 lights seem stupid to you, then that's your opinion. I know of 500 light operations on the other coast. This kind of shit has been part of everyday life for me for a long time. 48 lights seems small to me, but far from stupid.
BUT NOT BY ONE FKN PERSON........I believe you have this grow ........but........100% of the work done by yourself.............jog on and fkn behave.......

I'm going to mainlining my next batch in about 4 weeks I think that method would maximizes my space the best . Going to take my the best eight clones and mainline untill I have 8 tops each and use a trilis to lst the branches and for support I think I could then get pretty close to my goal of a 1 lb ever four weeks going to strech out the vegg a little longer tho to complete the mainlining and recovery

Why do you guys act like its impossible for one person to run a 48 light setup. It's a guy on YouTube named Medicropper and his new warehouse setup is a 50 light setup and it's just him and the only time he uses other people is when it's time to trim. People forget how much work you can get accomplished in 5 8 10 12 hour days!

Lol yea its pretty fucked up right now, but he will bring those plants back to life, he switch to a different type of nutrients that he had never used before and overfertilize them. He has a couple people that help him periodically like to help him bring all the coco up stairs and things like that but other than that is pretty much all him.

Bullshit. Growing outside is not an option for some people in some circumstances. Period.
Please I'm open to examples. My buddies are growing open outdoors no greenhouse, buds bigger than my fist. How is it so complicating to put a screen on top of the plants and a few dogs around the garden?
If you live in a cold weather area make a greenhouse even better.

Example: you live in a non legal state, where if you grow a plant outdoor you'll b in jail within a month. I'm not sure why this is so hard for you to understand. Ever heard the phrase "out of sight. Out of mind"

I think it CAN be done- and considering the incentives involved, I'm a little surprised it hasn't been done by more people.

I'd like to see some in depth discussion about your time saving techniques. As a full manual RDWC grower, I can certainly see the benefits of automating the feeding system for example.

My trim pro saves me a lot of time. It's pretty much an electric bowl trimmer. Takes around 2-3 hours to trim a pound. Since I grow SOG, I harvest each plant, strip it of the fan leaves and it hangs on a rack until it's trimmed. Takes about 30-60 seconds per plant. 25 plants per light. So roughly 6-8 hours to take down the entire room. Then it hangs for the time it takes for me to get it through the trimmer. It takes me 3 18 hour days to do all the trimming.

The automatic watering system is a godsend. I have not measured nutrients nor ph the entire time. My doser does it for me. The Rez empties 100 percent with each watering, float valve refills it while the doser does the nutrients and ph.

Cloning, well no secrets or shortcuts to that, other than just doing it. Only takes me a few hours to take a couple hundred clones.

I have a forklift to move plants from room to room. Load up a pallet, drive down 25 plants at a time to new room. Repeat until done.

Anyone with a work ethic and a standard operating procedure can do it.
