Getting to One gram pre watt

So you have a warehouse and not a factory pulling 48000+ watts behind your house and nobody gets suspicious? Here most of the big grows are getting busted because of electricity consumption. Please post a picture, I would love to see your 48k watt setup. :)

That's why I have asked for your help.......I have been thinking about this method for a while now........quality wise will it be up to par with a plant that has been vegged for say 4-6 weeks???
I used to do sog grows 70 plant rooms altough many think sog for quick return or it yields lots has to remember your usually only trimming 1/3 of the plant lower buds sites are always under developed so sog you really growing for top main cola's
Since lowering my plant count and went to scrog same veg times i am making same yields as if i was doing 76 plants in sog savings less food less man hrs dealing with it :)!cid_0323012236.jpg!cid_0312012200a.jpg dscf2782d.jpg picture1112.jpg

What is your plant count there

Where i grow its illegal period probably get a mister-meaner for 1 - 5 plants fine probation maybe jail time 6 plants up is mandatory jail time.. 6 months to 10 years ..
After a very close call and just not having the balls , like i used to. and had 3 rooms 76 plants either in veg or flower and 800 plus clones i would be going away for a long time..
So at the time lowered plants to 12 and changed grow style to scrog and been doing it ever since, Also allot less wattage used

As for GPW i pretty much get 1180 dry grams per 4 plants per 1000 watts consistently here is a grow i did couple years ago 5 plant 2k and did i think 5.75 dry pounds vegged 5 weeks from clone strain Pure power plant 5 x 10 scrog table picture883v.jpg

Its funny when people say G/PW. In reality they only measure the watts consumed by the lights.

But there is a lot other equipment sucking electricity. Fans (exhaust and air circulating), a/c, water chilller, air/water pumps, water filters, dehumidifier and probably more.
G/PW is used as electricity cost measurement, which is very incorrect because a co2 tank is cost effective so is your nutes.
Not only that. The period from start to finish varies a lot.

Example:

Johnny veg his plant for 1 month, flower for 3 months under 400w HPS and yielded 380g.

Tom veg his plant for whole 3 months and flower for another 3 under his 400w HPS and yielded 620g.

Daniel on the other hand veg his plant for 2 months and flower for another 3 under 400w true LED with co2 tank and yielded 800g.

If you have a screen under that JUNGLE then try and tuck as much as you can back under thinning out some of the lower leaves as you go.......you've got to get some light penetration to the bits that r just being smothered ........

Sorry I don't post pictures. And it's not behind my house, that was simply an example. Believe or don't, either way it's not gonna affect me.

how long was your veg stage to get them to fill the canopy?.also how many times did you top each plant to get the multiple mains?

ive run sog for many years, also ran a few larger plants in 5 gal dwc buckets, i always seem to get better yields having more plants but keeping them under 4 ft tall..
id like to try the scrog method, but im guessing the veg time would be a month rather than 1 week sog.. ive also done topping and lst but always get better yields leaving my plants to grow in their natural xmas tree shape, no topping or lst..

have a 4x6ft flood table with 36 plants in 4x4inch rockwool blocks, if i switched to scrog how many plants to fill the 4x6 canopy and how high up do you put the screen? does the screen go roughly 2 ft above the plants, then as the plants grow to the screen start topping and lst ing so each hole in the screen has a branch in it?? how long would i have to veg to fill the screen and how long after the last topping must u wait to flip to 12/12? ive heard the plants need to recover from each toping or cut before you can flip,is that wright?

Those were only begged for about a week

Yep and I think thats one of the main reasons I don't need any extra support for my plants. View attachment 3474740
i have a silica suppliment and use general hydro nutrients, maxi and nova..anyways i rarely use the silica but i use it as a ph up as it raises ph just as well as ph up.. does the silica really make a difference, have you done a comparison with and without to see a difference?

Nope never had the luxury to do a side by side comparison myself, but I did have a buddy years ago who did a side by side comparison but it just wasn't with silica it was a whole bunch of different additives and his plants were like night and day, so I still can't say with any true decisiveness. But what I can say when I used it on my ladies within 48 hours in soil l visually saw the stems bulking up! I took this first pic when she was 5 days into flowering I hadn't used any silica at this point. Next pic is 20 days flowering after using silica 4 times.

Good environmental conditions, good lighting, whatever decent nutes you want, and dialing in a strain/setup. You don't need fancy additives, just knowing your room/genetics.

Carolina I'm not arguing with you because I respect you too much for that.....but.....all that on YOUR OWN......48+1000watt lights 4 plants per light =192 plants to maintain......I have no doubt that you have this setup......but........I find it hard to believe you do all 100% of the work required..........
