Going Back To School

How could a person with no debts like credit cards, car loans or anything quit working and go to school full time? Also with no savings. How do people do it? I see it happen but never understood how they do it. Government pay their rent and their school bill or something?

No, they take out student loans that they'll later regret. Most people qualify for Pell grants. At a community college, a Pell grant can cover nearly the entire cost of books and tuition for a semester. Then they can get student loans issued by the government. No credit history is needed. As long as you are attending an accredited school, are an American citizen, you qualify.

It's not easy but it's possible. The amount of debt you are comfortable accruing will ultimately determine how hard life is while you're in school. I tried to minimize my student loans so I worked a good bit while until I had to quit for a full time internship.

They loan students money so they can pay room and board, transportation, lab fees, meals, etc.... If you desire a two or four year degree, applying for financial aid is the first step, visit http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/#

This is true.... it is one of the very few things that preclude one from gaining aid... we really ought to look into repealing that, as many drug offenses are non-violent and victimless.

I think this is probably the worst way you get fucked by a drug conviction. Why is it that a single non-violent drug possession charge can fuck up a person's future so bad?

how is the person supposed to better themselves if they cant get a loan to go to school? that only pushes people to continue doing drugs cuz u cant go to school

its a shame that a lot of our laws are so ass-backwards

there are also a lot of grants that may be available to you based on age, how much money you earn, as well as other socioeconomic characteristics. apply to the colleg you wish to attend and then make an appointment with a financial aid officer. the first thing they will tell you to do is fill out a fafsa. this is a government form that will qualify you for x amount of aid depending on need. what they generate is your efc, or effective family contribution. the lower this number is the more aid you are eligible for. the aid will be in the form of grants(which you dont have to pay back) and government subsidized loans (which you will have to pay back but you can differ til after graduation). there are also many scholarships that may be available to you based on merit or circumstance. a good start would be to google fafsa and find out more.

Do a hour or so resarch online and find the school you want........get a pic of their diploma and use Paint to incert your name and attach to resume and poof.........they never check that shit...............I use that method to become a Surgeon at a well known hospital..........they are now closed due to some sort of lawsuite on improper medical surgury but hey.....pleanty more hospitals to choose from........just change your hair and clothes and stuff so not recoginzed from last job..........there ya go....about .30cents involved.

LOL... my brother didnt graduate high school, but he always told interviewers that he graduated anyways. they NEVER check that shit

That really leaves me speechless, its amazing. takes alot to get me mad, but these drug laws sure get the job done.
