I vouch for gold label coco, top quality and never had the fungus gnat problem those bricks have, if you using a brick you are best to rehydrate with boiling water then inoculate your soil when you mix it.
i only use sterile medium these days, water, no organic. it's done well for me the last fifteen years. yields are phenomenal, potency way up there, great flavor, and smooth smoke. texture and density are perfect.

works for me, so if it ain't broke, don't break it...

I ran a sterile rez last run of hydro, I used mostly h2o2 to keep it straight , always looking for more info , what you using for your rez to keep it sterile?

Oh I always run hygrozyme too.

Been thinking about buying a water chiller.

i don't. all plumbing is bleached each run, res is bleached each change. modules/tables are cleaned approx. every three months. the trick is in the chem nutes and low water temps. when i change the res, the water is crystal clear, theyve eaten every bit of food available.

Yeah I need that water chiller that's exactly what I thought , if I can get my water temp down to 68 I wouldn't need shit to fight the rot. Thanks bro you kinda just made my mind up I need this damn thing after a run or two.

Try to hit one of your plants everyday with nutes/water and see what happens, bet you will be happy with the results.
No, I'll likely succeed at overnuting it, which is what I don't want to do. My plants are fine.

As for "cheaping out" I use nothing except Roots Organic medium and the Dry Nutrients Player Pack. $50 for the medium, $80 for the nutes.
