NIght Crawler, a hiker I follow on YT did the CDT this season. They had to turn back before they made it to Canada. They took too much time off in the summer, and they didn't make it before glacier national park was closed. They should have flipped.
my offer from few yrs ago still stands.make it to the NH-ME border I will stock you up.

The old joke was if Russia was ever going to attack, they would just wait until there was an inch of snow in DC. It would be shut down with everyone in the government sent home.

It was windy and cold with spitting rain most of yesterday. High was 50F. It stopped during the night, with just a few showers this morning. And it's warmer. We got up to 58F today. At 1630 it's cloudy, 55F with 77% humidity. Forecast low of 51F with 80% chance of rain tonight, 80% tomorrow and 50% tomorrow night. {the 5 gallon bucket in the back of the truck rain gauge says inch and a half to two inches so far. Might get a couple more over the weekend} 10 day high low of 77/30F with 4 days of possible rain.

No kidding you had a nice day. Glad you could get out to enjoy it. We started with the sun too, Snow expected soon though into Monday afternoon when it switches over to rain, or maybe sleet. Should be a great day!

Just now it is 40°F on its way down to a low of 34°. We expect a high of 38° tomorrow afternoon with rain continuing into Tuesday.

Radar makes it look like DC is right on the rain/snow line at the moment. Time will tell. Pressure has been creeping up, currently at 30.19in. My 6th grade science teacher taught us that falling pressure precedes a storm.

Hmmm

Yikes. All the storms you have been getting pass over me with just a little rain. I think I have one day the low is below freezing in my 10 day.

We got a freeze coming tomorrow night. Need to water the patio gh plants in the morning. Should have this morning, but haven’t checked the forecast til now, been busy with harvest. Other that man we’re supposed not have much frost this winter. I’m gonna keep throwing plants down. Might as well make use of this decent weather.9BA9490C-D513-4458-95C1-8A7244B2AA70.png

What is your length of day? I'm at 10 hours 10 minutes. Will only lose another minute before the solstice. The year I used lights in my spring grow, I popped seeds 12/1 and 12/7. I put them out on 1/19. Most finished, but a few did run into reveg. I need to scour my notes and decide what is my best strains for a late start. The Ass Cheese f2 and Ass Cheese Blues both flowered in spring and went right through the summer without reveg. Those should be in the mix.

Not sure how they work records with these new wunderground stations. The one near the house has only been in that spot for a year or so. But the website says our record for today is 78F. We got up to 79.5F today.

I was doing some brush piling down at the river house, and sweated my shirt through. At 1725 it's partly cloudy, 71F with 81% humidity. Forecast low of 65F with 80% chance of rain tonight, 90% tomorrow and 10% tomorrow night. 10 day high low of 74/30F with 4 days of possible rain.

We will all be at 12/12 March 19th. But since you are a little further north, so you will gain daylight quicker than me. I'll have to go back and look,, but it seems mine started to reveg in late April. The first sign with mine was tons of new white hairs growing on the buds. I left them until the seeds were mature. Only a couple had really started to grow shoots out the top of the buds.
