I wonder (if this passes) if this will effect workplace drug testing as well. Will this exempt medical marijuana recipients?
So do narcotic pain killers but no one is testing for them.![]()
I am aware of this and that's what I was pointing out in my post, I was also pointing out that you could vote not guilty for whatever reason you want already and most people are unaware of their right as a juror. I could acquit someone who had a hundred pounds because I don't think plants should be illegal or Because the guy seems nice or because I think it would be a waste of money to incarcerate him, as a juror I can currently find someone not guilty for whatever reason and not be obligated to explain my decision or face any penalties for making it. Most people are unaware of their power as a juror. In a lot of federal MMJ trials they prohibit the defense from even saying the phrase "medical marijuana", if the defense tries to use a medical defense the prosecution objects and the judge makes them stop and eliminates the statements from the record. This bill would put a stop to all that.
Its not like he dropped bombs on a bunch of people or radiated everyone or aborted a bunch of people or put chemicals in the food and water, I don't see why your so offended. The same people who will get into a tizzy because you said fuck are the same ones who want to put you in prison for a plant. I wouldn't want to be a part of a site that censors free speech among adults. He said people would grow more pot- Sounds like economic stimulis, sounds like a better plan than anything else i'm hearing about, At least some people still have a desire to produce something, better we grow our own than offshore this industry as well. If your offended that someone said Fuck Yeah or Fuck You, I'm offended we have homeless Americans sleeping outside and eating from the trash.Out of a page full of insightful information on a possible Bill that Might make it we at Roll it up put our ignorant mark on it by using the vernacular of the ignorant of "fuck" and we gloated how we would break the law or take advantage like 8 year olds.
Seriously. When anyone sees political commentary that includes instructions or agreements on oral sex then reads how "Fuck Yeah" were are going to really grow in the woods now.. Do you think they come away thinking to support said bill?
Take a clear and sober look at our political forum and realise this is what we as a community exports to Front Page Google on important issues.
Grow up!

I'm still glad people voted down prop 19 and prevented the off shoring or corporatisation of the industry. I hope this states rights bill passes but I doubt it will.
I know the people want it, I just find it doubtful that the feds will allow it to happen, given the ongoing issues with states rights and immigration and the TSA sexually assaulting people and states not being able to stop it, I don't see anything much positive happening for states rights issues but I hope I am wrong and peoples rights are recognised.Actually, these new pro-medical mmj bills are getting a lot of bipartisan support because of the emphasis on states rights. tea party folks support them.
I agree with Ernest's point about having to represent yourself a certain way to certain people if you want to sway their opinion. some people won't look beyond your choice of words or your style of dress or your haircut to listen to your point.

Congressman Sam Farr has just authored a bill that would make it legal to use medical law in a federal drug case.
If passed, for the first time juries will be able to find defendants not guilty based on state medical law superseding federal law. Fuck yeah!
If you thought Cali grew a lot of bud before, just wait until this passes!

I can't picture you in a suit and tie.I lobby for MMJ, when I do, you best believe I'm a suit and tie wearing motherfucker.
Can't the jury just use "nullification", their conscience, and vote no anyway? Maybe it's just me but I don't understand why more juries don't do that.
