Umm dont bs people pls.

Kush is real. Hindu kush? Heard of it?

Og is nothing but bs. Is it really ocean grown? Trying to tell me I havent smoked og, I prob smoked more og then you ever smoked all your life son.

In terms of genetics, og is bs. Dont say otherwise or your just a retard. Og is usually amazing herb. For the tards who cant read properly.
so wait, on one hand, you've smoked og kush, more than any other person matter of fact, then on the other hand, og genetics don't exist??
which is it? have you smoked og kush, even more so then any other person, or does og not exist? you do realize it can't be both, right??

of course og kush exists, it's chemdawg x lemon thai x hindu at best guess.. but of course there are tons of og's that are different in lineage than that? does it make them any less of an og? no, not imo..
if you've ever smoked an og, you'd be able to spot that taste and flavor a mile away. very piney, hashy almost, and a lot of times has an incredible coffee / chocolate taste to it as well.. pretty easy to spot an og just from it's taste ime..

Og is nothing but bs. .

Look, these are just descriptive terms. Either or neither could be "BS" depending on your point of view. Its just a question of semantics (ie how you define your terms).

"OG" is "real" because there ARE clone only cuts called "OG Kush" that people recognize as such, and hybrids using the descriptor "OG". If OG isn't "real" then why can you go into a dispensary and buy some of it, or a clone? If the term isn't "real", why are we even talking about it?

I agree, that "OG" may not mean much on its own, but so what? Does "Northern lights" really mean anything with respect to weed? "Haze?" These are just names.

In my opinion, if you're talking about either any one of these original cuts, or a line derived from them, its probably fair to use the term "OG" to describe them.

On "kush" as you say, that term specifically refers to the Hindu Kush mountainous region bordering Afghanistan and Pakistan. Now, since virtually NONE of the strains called "kush" are actually landrace strains from that region (but instead hybrids), I think its perfectly fair to say that NONE of them are really "kushes".

Right now, the term term "kush" is basically synonymous with popular indica hybrids, that's all.

Enlighten me, please.

never tried Cali con. but ive heard great things about their Deadhead OG. Was gonna pick up a few reg. beans and see what happens. Im definitely open to suggestions though im not ruling anything out. I wanted some options, and i now thanks to peoples input i have some.
Sorry mate. Heard good about Bodhi seeds here on the forum. Check into his OG. I'm sure people here could give you more heads up on that. Might have been a one time thing.

I really enjoyed Lost Coast OG. You really can't go wrong with anything from Emerald Triangle in my opinion. I've grown several of their strains and they were all top notch. Know this isn't an "OG" but their Mastodon Kush is excellent.

Even tga is dropping ogs son, stop sleeping
TGA's "OG" is only like 1/4 OG. Scrubtool thinks it's appropriate to throw the og name in there for marketing. If you're looking for a real og, look elsewhere.
3 really good og's from seed for me was the 18, Skywalker Kush, and Larry. Socal seeds Tahoe x Chem D was ok, wish I had more girls to pick through. I ran Docs OG, ended up with 2 phenos that didn't resemble OG all that much in the smoke. Hashy feet is what it was like. Not that great. I saw someone else run Humbolt Seed Co's og and that shit was whack. Smelled like day old hush puppies from Long John Silvers. Not OG in the slightest.

Only ran 5 beans. From 2 females, one smelled like feet, hash and indian food spices, the other lemony hash. Not nearly as potent or tasty as I expected. With those genetics it seems at least one would have been good enough to keep. I'm sure you'll have better luck with 20 going.

I have RP OG Kush and OG 18, along with Kandy Kush and Cannalope Kush, from and attitude promo a few months back. Never got around to trying either OG. I've heard to many mixed reports. When I buy or grow feminized seeds I like consistency. If I'm looking for a mother, then I'll pop 10 seeds looking for a gem, but in that case I would just use regs.

I don't get the hype around OG strains. Never have I smoked an OG(attained at dispensaries in Cali, so clone only varieties mainly) that made any more impression on me than any other good bud. I really would rather grow just about anything else, personally.

Why everyone just wants to do what everyone else is doing, boggles me. I guess I understand people outside of the west coast wanting to try an OG, but for you guys that live out west i.e. cali, why? Isn't there enough OG in cali. LOL I'm just giving a little shit. We all likes what we likes. Cheers and happy trails.

But in reference to the OG question. The reserva P's purple og #18 is nice. I forgot about that one when I mention Bohdi. Both though are probably more than $60.

I'd suggest checking out delicious seeds Northern lights blue, a 5 pack of feminized ceed for $45 or a 3 pack for 28, and with shipping should be under $60. And delicious seeds is quality gear, tried and true over here.

I ve just finished a cycle with 2 OGR wifi 2 CC larry 3 CC tahoe 1 RP skywalker 2 RP og la affie and i must admit that pretty much all of theese strains have some numbers...

la affie (not an og)
is the strangest plant on earth two phenos one smelled like codfish the other far more fruity and stinky...very psychedelic type of smoke...
the wifis were really two beauties resinous as fuck with the best yield of the bunch and a fuel lemony type of odour...not the tastiest smoke but its potent and the buds are really nice...
the larrys won for frostyness really covered of white trichs i havnt smoked the buds yet but i can say from the odour its on the fuel lemony side...good yield on this one but not as the wifis...
the skywalker is another real beauty the most sativa in the room had the strongest fuel odour with the larry with the densiest buds (almost zero trimming job), yield was good too for an og...
the tahoes were a real surprise 3 phenos three great plants, low yield but the smells and tastes were really something different, i got one pheno that is like smoking a banana, another one is a killer chemmy-pinesol combo and the third one had the same smell and taste of my lemony superdank goji pheno of my previous round...they had the lowest yield though...

one larry and one wifi popped nanners but nothing too serious and i gos some seeds on one of the tahoes...all the seeds were femmed...i will update a final smoke report when everything will be cured and smoked !
