Seems the Kurds are the only people actively fighting against ISIS and Turkey is doing their best to keep them from it.

Also, not defending Turkey but politically and geographically there are in a tight spot on this one. They have been battling with Kurdish"militant groups" so in their position it makes.sense to excerise some.caution.

They are taking in refugees
AND
They have been supporting the Kurds in Iraq and Syria for months.

Yeah they are taking in refugees, leaving the villages wide open for ISIS to take over.
Turkey was one of the primary funders for those who became ISIS. Their "politicians" are casting blame on each other as we speak.

What type of deal did turkey make with isis to free all those hostages?

To me that is the real question.

Oh, and they won't let us use their airspace.......
