Wow, you have twins!!! I am super fascinated to see if they will grow the same :D :bigjoint: I am riding the wave with this one!
I'd clone at least one of them, then create some fem seeds. I'd be very curious if this is a trait that could be reproduced with any sort of probability of it happening again.

Thought about that scroll...but then the thought of the roots tangling would kill them both...plus i considered their size coming up...its best to split them to prevent any other kinds of stress
I have a journal a few months back about this very thing. It happened with a TGA Querkle.
I separated a poly-embryonic seedling. It caught up eventually and grew as tall if not slightly more vigorous.

It just happened to me again last week. I separated a Mosca C99. I was so pissed I only got two out of 12 ceeds to germ, I pulled the little bastard and planted it also. It is a little sad thing, but it should catch up.
If you are careful, and do it early, it's not bad.
The Querkle I got actually was a girl and so was it's twin.
It has happened to me a total of three times, in the past two years.

i recently had this happen with DNA limited Grape LA and 1 of the 2 was totally different then the other babies...... only pheno worth a damn too. 6 citrus fails and the one outlying beauty. it was the runt too that ended up being special. i didn't keep it going tho. i ended up tossing the one clone that took root to make room for others so its not like it was OMG special, it was just special amongst its litter mates.
I hear you HGK...I feel like these girls are special just because they are different! No matter what happens, they will always be special than any other seeds that i have...

Its crazy you mention that spek...I was just on ebay and there is a product called tiresias mist...where it allows you to create female seeds at a 100% success rate...was thinking about giving it a try...its about $18 a bottle...

2 out of 12 is a horrible germ. rate...how are you germinating? I take my seeds and place them between a wet paper towel...then i put them into a well misted ziplock bag...i i wrap it with dark paper and take that and put it inside a cd case...come back 24-36 hours later and i got roots! almost always works...Got that method from my boy Growgod27... RMG...your lucky to have this happen 3 times...thats pretty awesome!

Life lesson: unless you're a pro like Rockymtnman......if you can't germ a seed you really shouldn't be growing weed. I know rockymtnman's reputation and popping seeds is not a weakness for him. If he got 2 outta 12....it's the seeds.

Please keep this updated man, I'm interested. I have a theory that the runts out of the twins are the powerhouses when it comes to the potency, flavor, and bouquet.

I do believe that the only reason the smaller guy outgrew the bigger one is because of the bigger pot i put the smaller one in...LAst night was the first night of 12/12 and they already have stretched a bit...

Great info! I will def. consider leaving them in longer...however, after checking trichs just now, its about 50% amber already...the 6 week point is 4 days away...as for the buds...they are decent...but not as fat as i thought they would be...hence...there is another 2+ weeks left...but i still think they should be fatter at this point...i'll update with pics in a couple...

Here are some fresh pics i just took from day 38 of flowering. Everything is looking wonderful although as i said in the previous post, i just wish the buds were bigger. Buds aren't that tight and hard as of yet...hoping some magic happens in the next couple of weeks...

Note the strings i have pulling them back because they are so tall...lots of string work for max lighting...
