I understand now you bought 4000k and there is no CD bin available. It's Chinese New Year and they are on holiday.
Yes. 8 total. 6-3500k & 2-4000k. I was told all CD. It's even written on a blank label sticker on the front of the Cree packaging next to where the 4000''s were placed in the carton on the bottom row. You can see, "4000k CD" is written on it in hand writing.20160201_102644.jpg

If he wrote cd then it's cd bin why would he lie. You're making an issue for nothing. Next time buy from cutter.

Just asking your opinion because you've dealt with him so much. God everyone is so "on edge" it seems here. Ready to cut someone's throat at the first hint of pointing fingers or blame.

You can't expect it to go smoothly if you publicly question the integrity of the distributor without testing the COBs first. That being said, I'm very interested to find out what happened.

I'm not mad at you at all. When it comes to cobs people do get touchy I noticed and about Jerry because he's a great guy and I read your pm he sent you legit CXB's and soon I'll be helping Jerry with the US. I won't know until after the Chinese new year.

edit: also you have given fuel to the Jerry haters lol. It's funny that cutter is around now and some people are jumping ship and complaining about Paypal fees and cutter hits you with handling fees switch is basically the sane thing lol

@REALSTYLES how is competition in this small area of the market a bad thing? I have done business with both Jerry and Cutter and both have their positive and negative points. I really haven't seen any Jerry or Cutter hate happening, just people asking questions and trying to feel out what's best for them...

I've heard pretty much nothing but great feedback about kingbrite. I wouldn't call this thread "hate" exactly. Some haters have popped in, but this thread is based on a reasonable question. I am hoping to get a clear idea of where to source a large order of 3590s and this thread popped up in my searching.

I'm not saying cutter is bad but there are post saying Jerry charges Paypal and cutter doesn't but cutter charges handling fee instead and there were rumors of free shipping at first but now it's only $17 for dhl from cutter. I think it's funny how people act. I'm gonna soon be helping Jerry and the guys in the US with the cobs after the Chinese New Year and I can't sell anything on here until I get the ok from the Mods and I'm not gonna break the rules of RIU.

Just to re state PP charge the fees, not us, from copies shown here of Jerry's fees he charges 4.5%, we have stated here several times we charge 3.5%. So on a $1000 order we are $35, Jerry is $45, thats the only difference. if your ordering more than this I would recommend you contact us as we can offer TT/EFT, where bank fee is Max USD25, again BANKS FEES not our fee
Cheers

I'm not knocking you at all. It's the guys on here who make all this drama lol. It's funny how they quickly talk shit about something they can't understand. I know about fees I used to sell industrial tools and when I ran credit cards there's a 3.5% fee that I charged and it's apart of business. So Mark don't think I'm hating on you because I'm not I'm glad you are helping the cob movement the only people I don't like is Digikey and Mouser those crooks lol.

As I mentioned, the difference between CXA and CXB, all CXB should have B3590 on the part, CXA have no prefix

Understand Real, appreciate that, just want people to have the facts, informed customers make the best choices. I hate paying the banks fees as much as my customers hate it

There have been many iterations of lettering on Cree COBs over time. I think the newest is the gold and grey lettering but no worries if you got black. You can see that they are CXB by the arrangement of the traces, they match exactly in the pics you posted.

As far as Kingbrite not being authorized, yes old news and no worries by my measure. Not so long ago we were paying $50+ for CXA3070 AB in bulk and only dreaming of CXB3590 top bins. He has given us a huge boost IMO. I am thankful for other options such as Cutter and PLC as well and their support of the site is appreciated.

The CXAs have a much different trace pattern than CXBs and a significantly higher Vf, so you can check that if you are still concerned. I think it was me that bought the very last of Jerry CXA3590s LOL

Looks like you got a CXB3590 4000K 80 CRi CD 36V class

Well apparently, according to Mark @welight, I was gI've ONE CXA3590. But jerry insists they haven't had stock of them in over a year.
Dont want to get in the middle of a shit storm, Just giving you the facts, not saying Jerry has shipped you the wrong part, you should clarify that with him
Cheers

What's the difference between my 2- 4000k 's then? Why's one say 3590N in black and the other B3590N in silver?
