That's correct! I might crack another seed and see if I can get a male. As gdp seeds would be real nice.

More pics coming soon, sorry bout no update jus been on a little vacation. This thing is lookin good, little N def again but where it is leaves are turning purple. Also I took some cuttings.

Hey guys I got more pics ill post tomorrow it is of cuttings I took from my GDP and there in Rapid Rooters plugs. I took the cuttings dipped them in water and then in cloning powder than into the plugs..can't wait to see how they come along..stay updated and if its not clear YOU CAN POST here as imformation that is helpful is always accepted!!!! Happy growing!

i was jus seeing if the bag worked like a mini green house...but i keep them in pickle jars upside down to act like a humidity dome/green house

True GDP is a very low yeilder. Clone only strain. NOT seed. . Where'd you get your genetics?

i got mine from some GDP my buddy brought back from cali...it had 3 seeds in a quarter pound.

I think it is a very healthy looking plant. the thing about grand daddy is there are alot of phenotypes and they grow way different. from the looks of your plants I have had that phenotype and can tell you it will get hella purple starting around week 6. your going to have sum nice bud.

yeah I agree its supposed to be a clone only strain. maybe he got a seed of a clone that was pollinated.

I struggle to pull a pound per 1,000 watt light of hps. there have been times were 1 of my tables thats in a corner of the room that gets hit on all sides from other lights has pulled 20 zips for that one light but for the most part your looking at about a zip and a half average per plant. which isnt horrible.

Regardless, he either has that or a hermie seed. Real GDP can't come from seed.

more than likely a hermie seed but even if it is a hermie if he grows it right it will still be dank. I grew a whole hermie crop of gdp one time cause I brought in a outside clone that I didnt cut and it was in the room flowering with my gdp and pollinated all my plants. they still came out fire just pulled them before they could seed.

I don't kno if it was a hermie or just pollinated by a male. I kno my friend looked through all the buds in the qp jus to look for seeds and this is all he found. I only cracked one and it turned out felmale so it could of been left flowering longer than it should, cause couldn't that make feminized seeds?I do kno that the buds were picture perfect gdp buds. And I also read that gdp is a indica dominate strain with almost to no sativa in it.which is what mine clearly is showing by being so short and bushy with huge fat fan leaves. Also I have been pulling 1.5-2 zips off other bagseed and a nice local dro. I've only had three plants flowering at once and I figured I would use my light to its full potential. I figured I would veg this one as a mother then clone off her. I've read a sog grow with a similar 8 bulb t5 ho that grew 16 plants but in smaller pots. So I figured 8 in 5 gallon buckets filled to about 4 gallons of soil would be alright. After this grow I'm going to grab a 600w hps jus for flowering and ill use my t5 just for veg and clones. Any input guys??

Mrstickyfingers- love the grow journal for your gdp. Any advise for my girls?
