Wait... I'm confused... I welcomed you to the thread! Did I miss something? I certainly never said anybody hijacked anything. I love for folks to post here about my grow or theirs.

Okay, you know what? I just scrolled back and saw that you DID ask a question that nobody answered. I'm really sorry about that. I remember when I read it that I hoped someone would know and say so. My first thought was too much nitrogen makes them claw and maybe that's your problem. I didn't see where you mentioned what nutes youwere using but if you want to provide more information, I'll be happy to try to help.

Your question landed at the time when I was in a knock down drag out fight with my computer to be allowed time online...the computer said no, and won. Temporarily... Anyway, how are they doing now and what are you using for medium and for nutes?

LOL, Heard the Elton John song "Tiny Dancer" today, and thought of you when he says the lyrics: "Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band"

Good times....

new updates please!
that would be nice!! lol!
Yes...I am curious also :weed:
Hey BlueJeans.....How are the ladies? :D
Okay, you know what? I've been a bad Grandma... Actually, I've been a very busy, busy, busy Grandma.

So here's a BIG update!!!

First of all, you must bear with me because I am smoking on some Bubba Kush straight from Maine Grass Roots, our version of a legal local dispensary. And it is some fine material...

DSCF8011.jpg

I also got some Cinderella99...another new favorite. OMG that stuff smell marvelous. He had a purple pheno (left) and a regular (right), so he gave me a 1/4 of each. Yum!

DSCF8013.jpg

My Vanilla Kush have both been taken down and they yielded 7.3 and 8.5 grams for a total of 15.8. Not bad from 2 7" plants. Nothing to brag about, but not bad. I can't seem to find my pics of the VK denuded, but I will post them when I find them.

The Strawberry Kiss also finished up and yielded 12.6 grams. Just like her mother and grandmother before her. I guess that's just all she's got to give. Either that or I suck and growing her.

DSCF7993.jpg <<--This...became this --> DSCF7999.jpg

And weighed 6 grams all by itself. And is SO sweet... I will miss her. This is the last there will ever be since it was a one-off oddball cross and there are no more clones and nobody is even sure of the parentage other than Strawberry Cough. So, with the last 6 grams (the bud above), I am going to roll 6 1-gram joints, tie pink ribbons on them and hand them out in about a month when my second granddaughter is born.

Here's the rest of the plant:

And...as some of you might know, my son and his pregnant fiance have lived with us for the past 6-7 months in our tiny 2 br mobile home. Well, they FINALLY got a place of their own and moved out last week. Grandma didn't waste any time converting the newly vacated 10 x 10 room into a growing haven...

This is the new vegetation station. Here, new plants will have an opportunity to progress toward maturity in relative comfort and in a stress free environment. It's a little ghetto right now, but we are going to properly frame in both a vegetation and a flowering area in the very near future.

The rest of the room consists of a water station, a dirt station, a nom bar, mood enhancement, and a nursery.

While I was legally buying weed...no, wait, I was paying a grower for his time and materials in exchange for a one ounce sample of his produce... I was also gifted two lovely ladies. I have a Strawberry Diesel (Strawberry Cough x NYC Diesel), and a Power Kush (right). And, as you can see, the ever faithful CFL's are back in operation in Grandma's new GROW ROOM.

DSCF8069.jpg DSCF8004.jpg

And finally, Pot: The Next Generation. After several false starts, some hopes dashed, and some good genetics fried to a crisp, we now have 13 healthy, growing seedlings in my first ever 12/12 from seed grow.

DSCF8070.jpg

All of them are regulars, so there will be a "Who's Who" fashion show in a few weeks where all the males are discovered and ritually slaughtered...its ugly. Rated R.

The contenders are 6 bag seed (Beatrice, Caroline, Darla, Emmylou, Matilda, SuzyQ) and
7 "name brand":

Vortex
Agent Orange
CheeseQuake
and three Pablo's Cheese

AND finally, while Grandma was busy moving everything around and making a happy new grow space, somebody helped themselves to a bit of my weed. G-d alone knows what he did with he, but it was pretty disgusting when I recovered it. But I SO totally smoked it anyway. And Jack (the cat) pretended to be pissy about me blowing smoke in his face, but he never left. He coulda left. He didn't. So I don't feel bad about it :joint:

I'd also like to give a big shout out to Karma's a Bitch for sharing his fantastic coco recipe. I mixed up a big ol batch, let it "steep" in a 20 gallon bucket for a couple of weeks, stirring it every other day, and started growing seedlings in it. It has been like magic! Everything to pop out has been healthy and happy and growing like a ... well, weed! I just add water...instant pot! Okay...not so instant, patience is required.

Anyway, I'm loving the amended coco and really happy with the results so far.

Granny BJ!!
NIce pics. Did you know that those curly lights produce more lumens from the side then the ends. You may have much better luck with them turned horizontal instead of vertical

Thank you! I'll work on adjusting that. I had hung them that way before because they were top lights for some plants but side-lights for others, but in my new area, you're right, I should turn them.

Glad u enjoy the recipe as much as I do.

A word of advice. Be very very careful who you take clones/plants from. U never know what you're bringing into your room. So far u have been lucky. No mites, other pests,or pm. I only get clones from a select few trusted peeps. That I know are on top of their game. And I still treat the new additions and quarantine them as an extra precaution.

Things are looking good. I'll be in touch soon

Hey blue. How is everything going?

I can't find my posts anywhere. I thought I already told you about your e-mail being hacked. I tried to find the post to see if you seen it and responded but I can't find it anywhere.

So yeah, your e-mail was hacked. I was getting a lot of spam from you. Every message would contain a link to who knows what. I wasnt about to click on them. So hopefully you change your password. I haven't received any spam for a few days so I am thinking you did.

But I wonder what the hell happened to my other posts in this thread that told you about your account being hacked. That really bothers me. Because I know I posted it yet I can't find the post anywhere.

So yeah let me know how everything is going. My blog is going so much better than I expected. I have people contacting me to write about them, or a product. I had nat geo contact me and wanted me to write about there new show. Recently I had a author of a book about marijuana contact me. They are going to send me a copy of the book before its even released to the public to read. I am going to do a review of it on my blog. And also promote there contest.

Its awesome getting free stuff I hope things like that keep happening.

Thanks for the words of advice. Very good ones they are. So far, this is only the second person I've taken clones from and you know the other one. And these were put into the new grow room by themselves. The flower room is as far away from them as it could be and still be in the house. I did do a careful visual examination before I even brought them in the house, then I put them in a room by themselves. But I am proud to say that they are pest free and appear to be extremely healthy.

Look forward to hearing from you!

There's been some weirdness going on around here with the posts and all kinds of stuff going on. Yesterday, my stats showed me as a Stranger with 5 posts under my belt...30 of which were journal entries...go figure. And I see that the LIKE button is gone. That's very sad.

But yeah, I had like 2 days where I had hundreds of "bounce-backs" and I saw rejections from email addresses I haven't sent anything to in years so I don't know what happened. I did wipe my account and changed my password so hopefully you won't have any more spam from me. So sorry about that!

And oh yeah, I am loving the recipe. Now that I've got everything else under control, it is really shining through. My seedlings seem to LOVE it and the new plants were put into the coco recipe a few days ago and they have grown 2 inches in 4 days. The seedlings have been growing as much as a 1/4 inch in under 3 hours! I always transplant my seedlings in about 1/2 solo cup of dirt, then add to it as they grow stretchy at first. Last night, I added to a few of the cups, right up to the cotelydons (however the hell you spell that). By the time I went to bed a few hours later, they were standing between 1/4 and 1/2 inch up off the dirt!
