GREEN HOUSE SEEDS

Why Do we hate them. So far I have nothing bad to say about them. I have grown 10 NL5 Haze Mist, 10 Bubba Kush, 10 Super Lemon Haze. And that's just this year. The last 3 years I've done "Big Bang, The Church, Chem Dog" As of yet I have yet to have one hermie. All of them have only had 2 types of Pheno's. All of them have germinated. I've done them outdoors here in Phx. The bubba kush is tough and does great against pest. I've never had mold of any kind of other problems. Gotta be honest think some of you growers who have had problems might suck a bit. When growing it all about understanding what that plant needs. You have to be able to adjust to your plant. JMO please know one get butt hurt. I just want to hear what everyone else is crying about.

maybe that arjan is a giant douche and a used car salesman and nothing in the way of a breeder of cannabis.. never was, never will be..
maybe the fact that the so called king os shwag has been caught more then one time red handed trying to bribe judges of the cannabis cup??

maybe it's his going to foreign lands and handing off his crap genetics to mix in with solid land race genetics of the region in his strain hunters videos?
maybe it's the fact that he'll slap his name on pretty much anything and charge a premium for it simply to make a buck??

maybe it's his attitude towards shanti, the real breeder behind most of ghsc's classic cup winning strains like white widow and el nino??

idk, just a few thoughts... :D

I get what your saying but that still doesn't change the fact that there genetics are awesome. He may be a shitty person but his gear isn't bad. I don't want to hear about people who hate the person who makes the seed but the peeps who hate there genetics for being crappy. Now take a deep breath buddy it's all good.

well, he had a falling out long back. dont be surprised if someone or ones, just want to hurt others who make em mad. and never stop. its the liberal way, truth be known. so, i have have found out in my 50 years of life, that i ignore rumors about people. should i take second and third and fourth hand news to heart, or should i investigate myself, to make an honest and educated decision?? heck. if we all make the educated decison, should not be a problem getting rid of our current president. but, listen to the mainstream media, and we all make dumb decisions. so. be mature, and treat people how they treat you!! -not like what you have "heard". i have never shut out meeting someone whom i heard bad about. i investigated myself! sad how some people can damage someone far beyond what they deserve. its wrong. "tho shault not bear false witness, against thy neighbor". remember? so, by passing on negitive stuff, that you have not PERSONALLY experisenced yourself, then dont speak it! and, i have had a seed company that i did not like at all. but i said so in an decent way. not smear em all over the map! so. i do have some lemon skunk fems, going. one a month into flower. kind of sativa. and two younger, look way more indica. so far no problems. the one is budding. i havent seen any herms. an odd, deformity, on a stem. its like wide and flat. in my pics. if something happens, i dont think i will slander anyone. the inernet makes cowards brave. they know noone is going to slap their nasty mouths shut. in person i have found them to be quite cowardly. all seeds can screw up, for a hundred reasons. no excuse to slander anyone. to much of that going on. peace to all. toke time.

I couldn't care less about him as a person. I have been growing long enough that I have seen other people grow out plenty of GHS gear and it is always sub-par. I am curious about what other brands of seeds you have grown that you w consider GHS genetics to be awesome. I grew what was the 'best' selected SLH out of three bags and found it to be decent but not worth keeping overall, and that was still the best I have seen from them. I would not advise anyone to buy GHS gear, ever.

Greenhouse seeds should be called Fisher-Price seeds. They're good for a cheap grow by someone new to the game. But compared to others that are out there and just as available, GHS don't measure up. Not to mention the shady american breeds GHS sells. Their Chemdog, Trainwreck, and Bubba Kush are all imposters.

Well here is a list of seed company's that i've grown out from seed. (DJ Short, Connoisseur genetics, DNA Genetics, Dutch passion, Tom Hill, TGA, Mandela, Sensi Seeds, Emerald Triangle,) there some more but to lazy to work my brain that hard right now.
I'm not saying there seeds are the best i'm just saying there gear isn't as bad as everyone else says it is.
The only plants that I've had Hermie on me is from DJ Short I had two from his stock flip

Ok, well I have grown gear from all of those breeders other than dutch passion, and ET (I have some lost coast waiting) and I would say all of them that I have grown have been more potent and more reliable to their strain description than GHS.

Other breeders that I have grown that have better genetics would include Bodhi, Sannie, everybody with Breeder's Choice, the folks at Breeder's Boutique, I'm just trying out some 303 seeds, but I have been in contact with them and their gear is solid. So why grow GHS? For a nifty grinder?

The point? His genetics are hit-and-miss. The real breeder, Shantibaba, is gone from Greenhouse. BTW Santa is real.

Actually I did grow some of GHS shit. A White Widow grow to be exact. Which is how I found out about their story. Next time I'll order Black Widow from the real breeder. Otherwise you just used a lot of pixels blowing it out. GHS sucks. They are impostors in many cases. Frauds. Got it?

They're genetics suck ass, that's from personal exp. there exodus cheese had a great smell but wasn't very potent at all n wld hermie EVERYWHERE when nothin else in garden was showin stress. Needless to say it didn't have a long stay there

I've never had problems actually I thought their stuff was OK. It's not expensive either.
I don't think I'll grow anything of theirs again, because there is much stronger and tastier stuff out there.. but as a beginner not wanting to spend too much on seeds they're fine. I'd put them on par with the nirvana seeds I grew but a bit more uniform.

"The liberal way"? Spoken like a true Karl Rove-ite. Weren't you just the guy telling people to play nice?^

Greenhouse is a Shithouse, and I base that statement off of experience (both mine and friends'). Their Big Bang and AMS strains are both weak. It's not that they were grown poorly. It's not that they were cured poorly. It's that the genetics just do not match up to other breeders out there.

For you to get on here and chastise people for going on GH witchhunt/being assholes and then turn right back around and talk about smacking people sounds like a pretty glaring flaw in logic.

If you're having good results from one of their products, say so. But don't get on here and preach to people unless you plan on practicing the lesson.

Otherwise, i'd suggest you take it back to Yahoo! News with all the other crazies.

I have run a few of their freebies, nothing was noteworthy. Sure glad they were free! Personally I just don't buy into the whole fem thing. Man, you want to talk about diminishing the gene pool!?!

There are things they have done that are pretty neat too like their sorting machine, I may try some super lemon haze someday.... if it's free.... lol

Hey Troutacus, I'm not really a hater, it's just that for two consecutive seasons I've tried to grow from GHS the following : White Widow, cheese, Exodus cheese, Super Lemon haze, Super Silver haze and finally Green-o-matic. Man they have been the worst unstable plants I've ever grown and the smoke was (for ALL) bellow average. And also very low germination rate. So, man , what's your point? GHS seeds makes (even colourful) seeds for the tourists in the cannabis world not for the inhabitants.
Also have in mind that cannabis is one thing, hemp is another..

Grew a beautiful Super Silver Haze from a GH seed. Shit smoke, airy bud, for-frigging-ever flowering and would start flowering again instead of filling the huge buds already there with non-existent calyxes. Trying to smoke the hay. No odor, no taste. Screw GH.
