Greenhouse GWS +DNA Sharksbreath grow 2010/2011

Hey everybody how's it goin? Long time lurker, first time poster. Long time grower/smoker! :bigjoint:

Thought may aswell share any knowledge I got and definately try gain some along the way, it pays to ask questions is one thing I've learnt!

Anyway this is only my 2nd attempt at growing using deep water culture(DWC) n I've loved the reults I've gotten! Prior I was only growin outdoor n that shit's cool but you can't beat seein a day by day progress :fire:

Anyway here some info and pics, don't be afraid to say hello n any feedback good or bad is welcome! Thanks for checkin this out :leaf:

The gear-
2mx1.2mx1.2m mylar tent
1x 160mm centrifugal extracting
2x 160mm clamp fans
1x 120mm computer fan, intake
600W MH/HPS for lighting, icebox ballast, MKII reflector(did have a air-cooled reflector going, oddly enough that turned out to be a fuckin nightmare :wall:

)
2x 25L res, one plant per res
Dutchfest Grow/Bloom A/B
Rock resinator
Koolbloom dry
GH floranectar pineapple rush
1x 400L p/h dual outlet air-pump (got the quad outlet, jus cbf fitting atm...probs wont on this grow either)

Anyone got any thoughts FIMMING/TOPPING? I gave fimming a go on one of my plants on my last grow(NL x Shiva, althought I was highly doubtful of how legit the seeds were....) the result on the yield was more than obvious. The FIMMED plant yielded 4 1/2oz, the plant I let take it's natural course only yielded 1 1/2oz. I don't wanna bag em out too heavily but that grow was from seeds from BDS(budydutchseeds) the customer service was excellent, the delievery method was excellent....BUT they didn't ever provide breeder packs, which for me is dodgey as fuck considering the amount I'd forked out...here's some pics off of that grow (the plant to the far left ended up herming)

Anyways after all that my question is: can you double or triple up on the FIM/TOP or just do it once and SCROG it? time really isn't a issue for me, as I know it takes a week or 2 for the plant to repair n keep doing it's thing, but also will multiple FIM/TOP cause too much stress? any advice on this would be much appreciated!

Looking great! I just put another GWS seed in the paper towel my first one got fried because of a faulty PH meter. Subd!

Thanks weedler! yeh I was readin about how you had to scrap the GWS on your pineapple express grow(which i've been following along wit the jock horror grow!) thas a shit go on the PH meter though, hopefully this one works out for you!

Hey everybody, day 30 of veg. and the ladies are lovin life! Was a res. topup today, i usually let the water level drop til it's 3" or so from the bottom of the res, even though it's a 25L res, I only use 12.5L of it. Dutchfest nutes go 20ml per 5L....I only had to top up with 5L of water per res, so thats 2.5L of A solution, n 2.5L of B solution, 7.5ml of A/B per container that I use to pour into the res. I only gotta do this MAYBE once a week?? PH is runnin at 5.9, temps at 29degrees celcius(though its a hot ass summer with 35degree days n shit, the tent temps have been kind....even though I had major issues with a air cooled reflector....temps shot to 45!! :wall:

really couldnt explain what the deal was there...) other than that, loving DWC! :leaf:

Finally finished making my SCROG net, turned out pretty sweet if I dont say so myself, be hooking it up within the week! Hope ya'll are well, happy growing! :bigjoint:

Damn, those are some tight node spacing, I don't think you will even need the scrog.
Looks like they are going to be pretty dense, keep that air flowing. Haven't heard of sharks breath, gonna watch this one.
