Yeah 18 hours of light and 4 hours dark during veg. Then move to 12/12 when flowering. Although i know people that leave the lights on for 24 hours. I dont recomend. But what ever you prefer

Thanks Tom420, how does this affect the grow? (Changing the time from 4 hours off to 6 hours off.) Will they grow faster, or heartier?

Ive saw roseman put wet towels hanging in his lil closet that might help humidity.
you really dont need a hps for veg. are you feeding any nutes.

Thanks for the advice Skateforlife6, I know I dont "need" the hps, But I do "want" one really bad. Lol. The only nutes im giving right now is a vigoro tomato and plant food. just started with that like 3 days ago.

Thanks Tom__420, I just started them on that schedule (18-6) last night for the first time. We'll see how it goes.

And Maintman let me know how it goes after you get the humidifier, I was not really having any problems rooting or growing, but then again I now dont know if my humidity gauge is even accurate. Im going to get a new one later when I get off of work and see if it reads any higher than my wonderful "springfield"..

Heres a couple of pics of how they are doing so far.
Things are looking good so far I had it going for a few hrs and the humidity rose from 35 to 50 and when i get home Ima make the space smaller and close the ceiling back in to reduce the sq footage to be humidified. I got an evaporative type which seemed safer than the hot steam type this kind just blows realy humid air through a filter system. Ima check in am to see the numbers and I'll put some pics of it up and my meter as well.

Still to hot, even though i've installed a bathroom exhaust fan and put it right next to the light. Heres some pics. Is there any diy to fit my style light with a cool tube. Temp is at 91 now, a little better then 97.

Ok so heres my remedy for the heat problem! A piece of plexi glass i cut to fit right below my light and fan. This way no heat gets past the plexi but all of the light does, which the plants seem to like. They are getting big quick. I'm going to wait till they are about a foot tall and start flowering. What do you think I could yield off of one plant if I flowered it then?? Oh yea, my humidity went up to around 40% when I got my new humidity gauge! Fu*kin "Springfield."

WOW I see that have done some upgrading, everything is looking good. As far as you flowering at a foot tall I would guess maybe an ounce and a half to two ouces per plant. Not really sure I have no experience with HPS but best of luck to you and your grow. Also I like Your thermometer/hygrometer LOL your gonna make SPRINGFIELD retarted ass Jealous

Thanks tr33top, I've been adding and modifying shit everyday, I cant stop, lol. I hope its as much as an ounce but I dought it. I was thinking more like a 1/4 to a 1/2 per plant. But than again I've never used an HPS so I could be suprised!

Hey everyone, sorry it took me so long to update but i just got two new jobs so i've been kinda busy. Anyways, I have had to take the middle shelf out of my cabinet and lower it cause these plants are going crazy! The stems are huge, and they are all about 6 1/2 to 7 inches tall. If I started flower now, how much would you estimate per plant. Here are some pics! Let me know what you think!
