Looking Great as usual!!

So hef, do you find you actually get a better foot-print using 400's instead of 600's? I mean you'd think in a sog type set-up that you'd cover more area with 6 x 400 instead of 4 x 600.......just not the depth......a gram a watt, huh......yeah, I wish! Thinkin' my best has been about .75 once. I have 2x 600 over an af20 that's looking to be my best quantity yet, we'll see.......and a 400 over a 2'x2' e/f table w/2 AK gals at 6wks..... just playing around, yah know, haha! This is WORK! And we love it and cant get enough......

Have a great week!!

hey thanks man.
& you're right about that for sure. more light>more buds, but i would need a whole bunch of other things for that operation. which i don't have the $ right now.
but i thought about it yeah, also it would be cool to use say 2x lightmovers with 2x 1000W attached on the reflectors.
but first things first, then comes the pleasure.:eyesmoke:
glad to hear you're having fun with your :weed: 2.

& here are some shots for you 2 my friend.

& now back to the green.

i've taken some pics again today.

the WR auto on 12/12 experiment.

& some bud

was kinda searching for EC-ppm conversion chart lately here on RIU.
could't find. maybe i'm 2 stooned, but i made one of my own.

if someone want's to use it for their own posts or thread,
just use the image link or download & repost.

Great tasty pics, hef! That cam does a great job!! We know your smokin' the good shyte! DANK!:blsmoke:
That's a cool conversion chart, and I am sure to be useful to many..... What is ec?? haha, jk, never have used it just ppm. Can you tell something more using ec??-----it would be great to be able to tell exactly "how much of what" your dealing with when it comes to nutes, you know. I change my hydro res's way too often because I am not sure what has been used up in the nutes, regardless of ppm. I've been under the assumption that ec/ppm is equal to metric/whatever we call what is used here in the US.

Again, great pics!! It sure looks like a sweet jungle of buds in there....

thanks, the cam does it's job now for sure. all those settings you can use it's realy gr8.
once you figure out all of the features right you can shoot like a pro. haha

what is ec hahahaha, that's a pretty sick joke there for a hydro guy like you. hahaha:-P

as i'm a complete noob to your type of growing, i will rather keep it on soil & organize me here first .
then slowly advance to more complex things.:weed:

that EC-ppm-conversion chart i made is used for 3 types of instruments.
hanna - uses an american system
eutech an european &
truncheon an australian system.

the EC & the ppm? ok i'll try to tell what i know so far.

with an EC meter you measure the electrical conductivity of the water.
i was wondering a few weeks back what that might be. .
the ppm measures parts per million content of a nutrient solution or in other words: it is the electrical conductivity of a nutrient solution that plant responds to in order to transport minerals.

the funny thing was, as i'm from europe i was confused by all the posts and all the differences.
because not many people here are using the same instruments. so sometimes i didn't know as they didn't write about what kind of are they using. was only seing pics & then had to figure out.:wall: haha  nevermind.

as i was using only water that was coming from the pipe, then i left it for about a week and then mixed it with nutes.
i'm pretty sure now i've done nothing good to my plants that way.
because i measured it for the past 12 days. Ph of my water was like 8,3 way to high & the EC (electro conductivity) level was 0,6 - 0,7. like to low or something i guess.

i was lurking to many grows in here and elsewhere. i found out that not all people use the same methods & not all the plants can uptake the nutes as others do.

in general growers start at lower levels of EC at about level 1 for sprouting seeds or planting clones.
for flowering they use levels from 1,4 - 1,5 at the beginning stages.
then slowly advance as the plant gets bigger and can so take up more nutes. they go all the way up to 1,8 - 1,9. and then when flushing again lower the levels of EC.

as for the Ph they start at around 6,4 - 6,5 when they sprout their seeds or plant their clones.
then they kinda slowly lower the Ph till the plants starts to flower, as the plants takes smaller amounts of nutrients when they are young and so can take more when they're flowering. they usually progress into flowering with a sololution around 6 Ph. some go even lower with the Ph levels in soil, but that can depend on the grow medium they're using.

i also figured out that if i'm using ph correctors i got to be careful not to rise the EC level with them to much. so i got to figure the best mix solution out yet. lol

also in soil people flush now and then (some a lot) between the flowering stage to get rid of the fertilizer salt accumulation.

this are my 2 cents on this. anyone can add and correct me if i'm wrong or something.
i'm an openminded person so any comments are appreciated.:joint:

good stuff heft
hey thanks bro. hope they'll still pack up as they do now. so i can make more gr8 pics of them.:weed:

and some very wonderful pics indeed. Walk on!!~~~~ :weed::weed::weed::weed::weed::weed:
thank you sir. i figured out all the setting for the cam. now it's realy fun to make pics.:weed: hope the buds will be somewhere near yours. that bud of yours looks amazingly dank:clap:
